Find of a lifetime
Originally purchased the Marimekko Poukama Sandstone Bed Linens and Duvet Cover because of the caynne color. Painted room this color several years ago and have been on the search for bed linens and duvet cover ever since. When I saw this on the web it was a "find of a lifetime" had to have.
The look, the feel of the sheets and the way they lay on the bed can only be explained as wonderful. Who wants to get out of bed!

Happy with purchase
The colors of this bedding look so great with bedroom furniture having lighter wood tones. The fabric & construction of the duvet cover are of good quality. No ironing necessary - just wash, shake out & semi-dry in dryer. Did not buy the matching pillow shams... too matchy-poo. Used solid color pillow cases we had with similar colors... looks fab.

Nice set
I bought the duvet cover and 2 standard pillow cases. All items fit really well and look pretty good in my bedroom; the only thing that I found to be a little deceptive in the picture is that I'd been hoping for a lavender hue in one of the stripes, but its definitely not lavender. So the set ends up looking more masculine than it appeared (to me) by the picture. Otherwise, it was a satisfying purchase.

Great purchase
I bought this set for my son's room. He has mission style furniture in his bedroom and I thought that this color combo would compliment the mission. I was right. It is inviting and very pleasing to the eye . I think this is gender friendly for anyone's room.. I love C&B and their choices. You can't go wrong shopping here. Highly recommend...

Calming & Quality Covered
I purchased the Poukama duvet and two standard shams after viewing the bedding sale online. I picked them up at our local C&B and was pleased that the color representation online was so close to the real palette. I wanted something calming for our bedroom that was also non-gender specific. I also like that there's an accent color included which keeps the linens from being boring. Unlike the previous reviewer I find the pattern to be very watercolor-like. No, the lines don't blend with brush strokes, but the overall effect is watercolor. My husband was pleased with the choice and the quality of the material is good. This is my second bedding purchase from C&B- both were Marimekko patterns- and I've been pleased with the colors, design and quality.

See in Person Before you Buy
I was REALLY DISAPPOINTED with the Marimekko Poukama Sandstone Bed Linens. The photos lead you to believe that the graphics on the bedding have a soft, blended watercolor feel. In reality, these are tiny dots that have hard edges which are separated by white space and they do not read like a blended watercolor to the naked eye. C&B should provide a close up image of the pattern, because the current photos are misleading. Also worth noting, in the image, the cool color appears to be more lavendar, when in reality it is a drab gray that you might expect to see in an institutional setting. Aweful! I like many of the pieces from the Marimekko collection, but this definitely falls short. Sending back ASAP.
