Great desk
Loved the desk. Great for a small space. Easy to assemble. Only complaint was that the wall mounting hardware broke.

Absolutely STUNNING!!!
Like every other review here, this desk & bookshelves combo is breath-taking, gorgeous, and so simply it's unreal! My husband wanted me to make sure when I reviewed it I mentioned how easy it was to put together, easy to follow the instructions, AND they give you extra pieces of hardware just in case. It comes in 6 boxes and each box was very well wrapped to insure nothing would arrive damaged. I'm still settling into it and organizing it, but this will be a staple in our home for many decades to come.

added height, openness and personality to the room
In the last 13 months two major changes, over which I had no control, have impacted my life.
I felt that I needed to take charge, and make some changes of my own.
I decided to do it through freshening up my home.
That's when I purchased the grey Sloane desk and 2 bookcases....and I am so glad I did!
I removed a large roll top desk (which held a pc, keyboard and more than a little clutter) from my office. In their place, I now use the two bookcases, and rely totally on my laptop.
I placed the desk in the guest room, which houses a bed and only a few necessary pieces and homey accents.
My home is small, as are my rooms, and the furniture did exactly what I thought it would do. It added height and openness to the spaces which now have fresh and stylish personalities, look and feel complete, and are absolutely inviting!
The design and color of the bookcases and desk are great, the pieces were easy to assemble, and are as functional as they are attractive!
I love them!
I was confident with my decision to replace the furniture, and pleased with the style of my selection,but I am truly thrilled with the outcome!

Perfect for a Small Apartment!
These shelves are so sturdy and attractive! This was one of the best investments we've made for our small apartment. We purchased one of the larger bookcases, one narrower one, and the desk unit, which fit perfectly against a small wall in the living room. These are so easy to arrange to fit into any space, they were easy to assemble and are sturdy enough to hold heavy books without warping. I love these shelves!

Perfect Desk!
This desk was perfect for our guest bedroom/office. It was not hard to assemble you just have to follow the instructions! The only trouble I had was attaching the full piece to the wall, I needed the assistance of my boyfriend to complete this. IT is slim, sturdy, elegant. The dust seems to appear more quickly on this dark furniture more than others but, it is not a problem. The wood is very smooth and the desk holds a ton of items we have our books, supplies, computer, printer, cds all organized on the shelf.

Very well made
I purchased this unit because I was setting up a computer for my son in our living room. It was very well made and easy to put together. It looks wonderful and now my son has his own computer as well as I can display photos and store all of his books and games and it keeps me from having to pick up at the end of every day

Fabulous unit!
I received the Sloane leaning shelves and desk as a wedding gift! We have now had them in two different homes and they look fabulous in both!!! They add a fun element to the room with their leaning. I just love these desks and they are very easy to clean and show very little dirt.

Nice desk and shelves
Good storage space, although I am still not confident that the shelving units are firmly in their place, even witht eh wall mounting.
I use the desk on its own, which is great; that, I would give four or five stars. The shelves can be placed separately, which I did, and I am just not sure how well they balance on their own.

The Perfect Fit
After months and months of looking for the right desk for our home, and my new home office, my husband and I agreed on the Desk/Bookcase combination.
We also decided to buy an additional bookcase in order to house my ever growing collection of books.
The assembly was quick and easy, and I've now settled in to my office away from work.
We couldn't be happier with this product.

Love Love Love
Great, versatile desk. Easy to assemble, and sturdy when you are done assembling. The shelves hold so many things, but it doesn't take up a lot of room. When I first purchased this I lived in a loft, so it was great since it isn't big and bulky, yet holds all of my books and laptop!

It holds a lot of DVD's and books and it looks fantastic in or guest room.
The color it is a very elegant dark chocolate and the design is very clean.

Stylish and functional
This desk looks even better than in the catalogue. The dark color matches my hardwood floor. A handyman assembled it for me, so I cannot rate the ease of assembly, but the result is perfect.

Perfect
This wall unit was exactly what we were looking for and looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. It wasn't hard to put together, about 45 min. The desk portion is sturdy and our flat screen monitor and keyboard fit nicely.

Looking Good
We liked the first set of (3) Sloan Bookcases so much we came back for more and ordered the Sloan desk and another bookshelf. We moved from one home to another and these shelves are so easy to move and rearrange. They've been in three different configurations in our present home and adapt easily to any room or setting. One of the best purchases we've made.

sloane system
We purchase this piece plus the bar section for my daughter's college apartment. It is a perfect piece for a room with limited space and provides lots of shelving plus an adequate desk for study. It is sturdy and attractive and since it comes in sections, will be used in many ways for years to come. The price point was very good and she is thrilled with the concept and usability. Fairly easy to assemble as well!

I LOVE IT
I wish I could have this in every room in my house. Everyone compliments me on the design and It really holds a lot of things and I use it as my work desk and its great! There aren't any drawers that a desk would normally have but I have a box to go under the desk where I keep my papers and it fits nicely.

SOLID DESK/BOOKCASE
We purchased the desk & 2 bookcases for our apartment study. We needed somewhere to work when we were home and this seemed like a great solution. The piece looks good in our study and is much more sturdy than expected. The only negative about the piece is the quality of the wood once you attach the hardware to the back. They provide hardware to connect the bookcases to the desk. It is simple enough, but when we screwed in the hardware, the wood seemed to nearly fall apart. We ended up having to create more holes in the wood because our first attempts cracked the wood.
