Worst C&B purchase ever
We've bought lots of stuff from Crate and Barrel over the years. Furnished an entire condo with their merchandise and have always been satisfied. The original chair had to be replaced as the swivel mechanism was defective and the chair leaned in one direction. We had it replaced a week later. The new chair is better but still poorly constructed. The slip cover is such a poor fit it drags on the floor. The swivel grinds as you turn. For this kind of money we expected a whole lot more. The chair in the store is so much nicer than what we have. We'll think twice about buying from them in the future.

Relax and unwind
Bought 2 of these chairs and they are perfect; comfortable, mobile, classic but cool. The casual elegance works for me. I've not yet washed the slipcover but it looks like it will wear well. I'm only 5'3" so a chair that fits is key-- the seat is spacious but not too large.
Will definitely enjoy these.

Great chair
We bought this chair for our 2-year old's room -- it's perfect for reading books, long nights or just for lounging. It's a great solution for a small space - comfortable and soft without the overstuffed feeling of some other the other chairs. The slip covers wash well and are interchangeable (although 1/2 the cost of the chair!!)
This chair will transition nicely to other rooms in the house.

Love this chair,
I love this glider. I purchased it to go in my daughter's room and rock her to sleep in it every night. It's stylish, easy to wash and incredibly comfortable. It's a little more expensive than a glider you might find in a baby store, but oh so worth it. I recommend the ottoman, especially if you are purchasing this for a nursery so you can kick your feet up and sleep! Fantastic chair--wouldn't change a thing.

coziest AND ugliest seat in the house
Very comfortable chair with a high quality slipcover. However, I really wish it had the tailored look of its sisters, the bayside and portico--but we needed a chair with a smaller footprint. Cushions were HUGE when it arrived and the slipcover was ill-fitting but a few weeks of use made it look just like the picture/display. No disappointments here.

most comfortable rocker to sit and hold a baby in
I chose this rocking chair to welcome and rock my new grand baby in. the arms are perfect height for my arms to rest while holding the baby and slipcover allows for easy washing.
The most important part of my review is the customer service I recieved. Due to circumstances it was 8 months after purchase that I reported what I thought was a mechanical problem with the chair. They sent a service representive to my home and indeed it did have a manufacturing problem with the rocking mechcanism. The serviceman reported the problem and he said it could be fixed but a part needed to be ordered. Next thing I know Crate and Barrel called me and they were delivering a new rocker to me. They felt it would be the most satisfactory and quickest for me if they simply replaced the rocker with a new. They said it was for a very special bundle to be rocked in and they wanted me to be 100% happy. Can't get much better customer service than this. The rocker is perfect and I would tell everyone to purchase it or any piece of furniture from Crate and Barrel, they stand behing their products!

great chair
We wanted a nice, comfortable swivel chair that wasn't too big and this chair was perfect. Fits all sizes but doesn't take up too much floor space. Styling is nice. It goes with any decor. Other slipcovers available so you can mix it up with the season.

Great buy
Love this chair. Very comfortable and perfect size, especially for an apartment.
We got a Stock Plus slipcover color, so it took close to 5 weeks to arrive. A little too long for our liking. Other than that, a great buy, for sure.

Baby's room
We got this chair for our nursery and it is great, very comfortable with good design. After baby we will transfer it into the library since its not a bulky "baby chair"

Comfortable & Well Sized
Purchased 2 of these chairs for a lake home. Unlike almost all the other slip covered chairs we considered, these are relatively compact -- not too deep, wide, or tall -- yet are very comfortable for most persons of any size. They are perfect for the constraints of the space, which is narrow and has windows to the view that we did not want obscured. We were allowed to purchase our own fabric (COM), which was critical given that the stock fabric selection is limited and a bit uninspired.

Nice chair
I love the swivel glider, it looks great in our home, so much so that I have two of them. I purchased both chairs in the stock color. The color is nice, and seems to clean easily enough. It does not look as neat and pressed in the picture though. It looks a little rumpled, and while that works for me and in the location I have the pair, it might not work for a more contemporary look. If I could change any two things about the chair, it would be to make the back a bit taller, and to make the slipcover look less rumpled after use.

color
I ordered the swivel glider and stationary ottoman in tobacco. The color is much more green than I thought, and actually clashes with my bedroom. I ordered it in March, and I just picked it up today (mid-May), and I really hate the color. I had a swatch, but the actual chair is much more green. Also, the ottoman is much too small for the chair. It is about 4 inches shorter and it isn't the same width as the chair is. It looks funny next to it.

Love this chair. I ordered a pair in the stock color, sand. They arrived 7 days later! They are comfortable and we really enjoy the swivel glider. I haven't had to clean them yet so I am little concerned how well they will wash but from every other aspect I am quite saticfied.

wrinkly & late
This chair is fairly comfortable. The slipcover doesn't look as nice and crisp as it does in the picture online. I ordered this chair in the spruce color, and the color is good. I was disappointed with delays in my order - ordered in January, received in April. Also ordered the glider ottoman which is very nice.
