Great Little Desk
Perfect size for a bedroom or small office. It doesn't have a keyboard drawer, but there's plenty of workspace even with a 21' monitor sitting on it.
The desk was also very easy to assemble. (I put it together in less than 20 minutes.)
Overall, an excellent desk for the money. I'm very glad I bought it.

Blue Ribbon Desk
This is the best desk of this size I have ever seen or used. Beautiful design aesthetically and mechanically. Drawer glides in and out and has useful divisions for supplies and papers. It was just what I needed for a corner desk in a bedroom. Easy to put together.

Perfect
This desk is beautiful, sturdy, and very easy to assemble. It is perfect in a small space - we're using it in a corner of our living room and it blends nicely with the other living room furniture. I think it is very reasonably priced for the style and quality.

Perfect desk
Desk was easy to assemble. Drawer slides smoothly and built-in divider layout allows me to keep paperwork and bills organized. I highly recommend this desk.

Good desk
I got this to start organizing my crafts along with the ladder bookcases. The white coordinated. Scheduling delivery worked very well and assembly was easy...I think the quality is right for the price.

Nice size, classy look
I bought this to use as a sewing table. As others warned about scuff marks, I put the sewing machine on a white woven placemat and my table lamp on a square of white felt and that solves the problem.
It's the perfect size for the small space I had to work with. I looked endlessly at C&B and elsewhere, but mainly only found bigger desks or desks designed for computer use, so this was a real find for me.
The drawer is perfect for sewing supplies. The construction is sturdy and the finish is classy.
It took my brother-in-law and me less than an hour to assemble. The drawer has well-made tracks which slide easily once assembled, but it's a little tricky to get it together correctly.

Surprised about finish...
Pros: Looks great, assembles easy, packed wonderfully.
Cons: Marks to easy. Rubber feet leaves marks (there goes the laptop or printer.) Husband hung C&B world map over desk and accidentally left a mark. Mark was removed with a little Palmolive dish soap on a damp soft cloth (anything stronger will remove finish.) Now husband is heading to the hardware store for a plexiglass top to protect it. Looks beautiful but isn't practical as a working desk unless you protect it.

Solid Purchase
Love, love, love my new desk!!! The construction is very well made and the built in drawer dividers are a real plus! I plan to use the biggest compartment to store my keyboard when writing my briefs. When my son saw me putting it together, he asked if the desk was for him since it was so much nicer than his desk that I spent double on. That's what I love most about C&B...great quality for not a lot of money!

Great White Desk
This desk was delivered quickly and came in perfect condiiton. Was just what we expected and feels significant in terms of weight, etc., not a cheap faux desk. Good drawers pulling out easily, etc. I read a review with concerns about cleaning products applied which took off the finish, but we didn't have that experience. To finish it off, we added a cut mirror to the top which jazzed it up and since it's close to our kitchen area, makes it such that we can use it as an addiitonal food/drinks serving area if we have parties. We love it!

great white deck
I was looking for small white desk for my spare room to make it into a office. I add the accompanying chair and cushion for a great place to do some work.
My husband and I were able to put it together with no problem.

Nice Size, Sturdy Desk
I was downsizing from a much larger desk. The Patterson desk was a nice choice because it isn't too big. I've been pleased with how smoothly the drawer opens and it has nice compartments. The drawer is not very tall, so you have to be careful how much you try to cram into it. The desk was easy to assemble (only need a screw driver) and I was able to do it by myself in less than 30 minutes.

new desk for the studio apt.
Purchased this desk along with the Brighton Bed Frame and one of the media centers offered at Crate and Barrel. The desk is simple but effective. The most difficult aspect of assembly was removing the drawer in order to assemble the desk. The rest of the assembly was easy. The instructions are easy to follow.

Excellent customer service
When I pulled the drawer out of the desk to assemble it, I noticed that the base of the drawer was cracked. I immediately called Crate & Barrel, and they shipped a new drawer to me within a few days, no questions asked. Excellent customer service. I have always had good luck with purchases I've made from them & will continue to be a loyal customer.
The desk was easy to put together. I was able to do it on my own in about 30 minutes. It looks great!

Great find!
I purchased 2 Paterson desks about a year ago for my 8 and 10 year-old (one white and one black). The care instructions say to use a dry or damp soft cloth to clean. This is what we have used and we have never had an issue with the desk surface. These desks are the perfect size for their bedrooms and have served the purpose well.
My daughter, now 11, hung a mirror on the wall above the desk surface and uses it as a vanity as well. It's perfect.
I would definitely recommend this desk.

Not so great...
After putting together this desk we waited so long to get, we wanted to wipe the desk top so it shined in it's new room. Not such a good idea. We used a multipurpose cleaner (Same stuff we've used on our other desks) to clean it and it took the finish right off! I am so upset this desk didn't even last a day!!
