Best sleeper sofa
Waited for ever to make this purchase. We got the twin size and put it in our office to replace an uncomfortable fouton. If you want to sleep on a pull out this is the only style to get. Easy to open up. No bars! I even slept on it when our queen matress was failing, and I had a bad back. This mattress is firm so it was a huge help. We love it.

Awesome Sleeper for a Small Apartment
I had said I would never buy another sleeper sofa as the memory of my grandparents sleeper sofa and its bars in my back come quickly to the surface even 20 years later. And then we found the Allerton while we were looking at chair-and-a-half models to replace a couch that wouldn't fit in the door of our new apartment. I was happily surprised at how comfortable the couch is in both chair and sleeper configurations. The cushions for the bed are a little soft for me, but I like my bed to be more firm than most people. It is also very easy to pull out and put away.

Gorgeous for Guests
Perfect for small spaces! Purchased this sofa for a small study/guest room after considering the big price. It's worth it! Definitely the Cadillac of twin sleeper sofas, but the quality and craftsmanship show that it will last a long while. The stock "Spring" fabric is bright and beautiful, and the ease of making the sofa into a bed - and vice versa - is unbelievable. Incredibly inviting and more than comfortable for sitting, lounging, and sleeping. Highly recommended!

Worth the wait
I had been looking at American Leather sofas for a long time (they are the manufacturer of this sofa). I couldn't bring myself to spend the money on a couch that my kids will climb on and have it potentially get ruined. Well, I needed a new sleeping option for guests and went to Crate and Barrel not knowing that they sold an A.L. design made for them exclusively. I had been pining after this company's sofas for over a year and after laying on the queen bed I was sold. I knew I loved the design and asthetics but the comfort is what sold me. I have had it for a month and have had a 2 week visit from my in-laws and it worked out fantastic. CB was very professional, the piece was delivered exactly when they estimated it would be ready and its beautiful. Couldn't be happier and thrilled that we spent a little extra for the comfort of our guests b/c as an everyday sofa it is absolutely perfect as well. Just a note-it is a little firm and softens a little over time but overall I would rate it to be firm but that is what I prefer, just a heads up!

Perfect chair
We purchased this chair for the living room a few months ago. It is the perfect snuggle-size for my daughters and me when we read together. The bed is an added bonus - so comfortable.
Note: Be sure you know where you want it placed when it is delivered. It is extremely heavy to move.

WELL-MADE PIECE...& READY AHEAD OF SCHEDULE!
I purchased the Allerton Queen Plus Sleeper in Suede Life Moss. It is such a beautiful and substantial addition to my living room in my loft condo. Anyone who cares about their overnight guests should invest in this sofa bed because the mattress is SO comfy!!!! (NO MORE UNCOMFORTABLE BARS IN YOUR BACK OR SPRINGS!!) This is such a high-quality piece of furniture and even though I chose a different fabric my piece was ready in 6 weeks. Staff and delivery were very professional. Highly recommended.

Disappointing Purchase
Custom queen size sleeper sofa arrived with wooden splinters throughout the center section of the mattress. Item took 10 weeks to arrive (original manufacturer's estimate was 4-6 weeks.)
