I got this for X-mas gift. Love it. Can use it so many different ways. It's better than my sister's with all the attachments.

Great gift
I gave this as a gift to my daughter who is in a small apartment and just starting out. It is compact and really covers basic needs for a mixer, a blender and a food processor and she had none of the above. She loves it and has already found lots of uses for it in her kitchen.

Quick and Convinent
Love this hand blender. Its easy to use with the attachments that snap in effortlessly and powerful enough to do most of the tasks my processor will do. I can blend, and whisk right in the bowl I am using instead of transferring to and from the food processor or traditional blender. This has become a staple appliance in my kitchen!

Kitchen must have
My new Cuisinart Smartstick hand blender has been easy to use and clean. I love the compact size, as it easily stores in a small kitchen. The motor easily chops vegetables for omelets, quickly mixes homemade salad dressings and creams soups beautifully. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Great Tool
This is such a great multi-purpose tool. I bought this after being fed up with transferring small amounts of my butternut squash soup recipe back and forth between my blender and the pot I was cooking in when it came to purée and make it smooth. This easily solves my frustration. It makes cooking my soup a breeze now. So fast and easy! I have use sit for my than I originally thought I would as well!

Handy little thing
I love this Smartstick. It is great for making pureed soups. And the small food processor attachment is great for small recipes. It's so much easier than lugging out the big food processor. This thing rocks!

Younger generation teaches older generation
We were at our children's for "T" day and my daughter-in-law used this to make a wonderful soup...So fast, easy and cleanup was a breeze...Off to C & B in Bridgewater NJ and now I can make soup too...I had my first experience and it worked wonderful...Even had some left over to freeze...Thanks Cuisinart for yet another wonderful product...Love Cuisinart for me and for gifting others...Quality and good looks too!

Wonderful
This immersion blender is phenomenal! It's great for smoothies, blending soups... the food-processor-like attachment is wonderful for chopping herbs and veggies... it can even be used to make whipped cream. And I love using it to "froth" hot milk for my morning coffee. It's a space-saving device that I can keep in the drawer... so I can leave my bulkier appliances tucked away. We've LOVE it. And the price is ideal.

Cuisinart Immersion Blender
I loved this blender when I first started using it last week. Great gift to receive & made it so easy for me to make smoothies. However, after only 1 week of use, it sounds like its dying. The loud grinding noise coming from its main base when attached to the food chopper is at its loudest and then barely blends with the hand blender & well, the whisk attachment is basically useless. It is maddening to have to deal with this on a new product. I have the Cuisinart hand mixer and its great, the coffee pot & its great. But, this is NOT!

Worked wonderful till it broke (Twice)!
We got this as a wedding gift and was super excited about replacing our old $15 immersion blender with newer, higher quality blender. The first blender lasted about a month before the inside of the motor body (teeth) stripped. This caused the motor to simply spin, while the blade did nothing. Crate and Barrel was nice enough to allow me to exchange for a new one. I used the blender happily for 3 years of casual use before the same thing happened once again. Sadly I am now just out of warranty. I had no problems with the actual performance of the blender, but this blender(specifically the plastic teeth in the motor body) are not build for heavy or year of usage. Looking at other reviews here, I see the same issue reported. I rate this product 2 stars, since I expect my kitchen appliances to be build better.

I couldn't Wait!
I received this as a wedding shower present, and was waiting to utilize all of my fabulous gifts until we move into our new home after the wedding...But alas, I could not wait to use this one!!! It makes fantastic shakes, cuts everything evenly with no lumps...I'm thinking about getting one for our Godchild so that her parents can mash up her baby peas!!!

my friend was right
This is a kitchen necessity. I had no idea how often I would use this product! My friend insisted I add it to my wedding registry, and I'm glad she did. I use the stick blender to partially puree soups, mix hot items, etc. The chopper is the perfect size for creating quick pestos, hummus, etc. I love this thing.

Super Sous Chef
This was one of the first things I got at Crate. I have had it for over 6 years and it still works as good as the day I got it. I also bought one for my grandmother, its light wait and easy to operate. I have never owned a hand mixer...this does it all! Great for soup recipes that call for the ingredients to be blended.

wear and tear
I love my hand blender, but don't get to used to the mini-food processor attachment as the mechanism that makes it operate is made out of plastic wears down and becomes unusable. its unfortunate so much is made out of plastic these days.

Handy
I like using this because I can stick it right in the pot of soup or whatever it is I need to blend and it is so easy to clean! The chopper is handy for mincing and chopping small amounts of vegetables. I have only used the whisk attachment a few times, but I can't say it's my favorite feature of this hand blender.
