Stopped Working
I purchased this coffee maker 6 months ago. At first, it was great and I loved all the features it had. But a few days ago, it started to stop brewing midstream every time I used it. It would do a really slow trickle and then stop before all the water was used. I haven't had it for very long and it is already broken. No wonder this coffee maker has now been discontinued.

Nothing but REGRETS!
I bought my CM200 at Crate&Barrel, and think they should discontinue it.
Capresso doesn't mean quality any longer so don't waste your money. My first Capresso from years ago (CoffeeTeam Grind & Brew) worked like a gem. But the CM200's design and performance was SIMPLY AWFUL.
The heating coil failed after 2 years, so we had to replace this machine, after two years of annoying issues. I called Capresso, which used to have first rate customer service and support. No more! The rep. was rude and offered no accommodation. So long, Capresso. Hello MochaMaster.
Capresso CM200 has unusually poor design and functionality:
1) The drip-stop didn't work. It always dripped, despite replacing the gasket twice.
2) Bits of the hot-plate's black coating stuck to the bottom of the glass carafe within 1 month of purchase, despite my cleaning up drip as they occurred, before replacing the carafe.
3) The water reservoir could not be filled in advance, because there was a slow leak onto the counter.
4) Standard #4 filters stuck out of the top of the basket. (Unbelievable, huh?) If you wanted it to fit so the filter door could close properly, you could cut off the filter tops off with scissors!
5) Opening and closing the filter's swing-arm was awkward and tipped the pot unless you removed the pot first.
6) The swing-out piece holding the filter is not removable for cleaning. If you didn't clean it regularly, coffee grounds would accummulate and clog the spout, causing leaks on the counter. There is no easy way to clean the non-removable basket -- very tedious.
7) The carafe's plastic handle was not rigid enough; it creaked in your hand.
8) There was a 3-5 cup setting that's supposed to strengthen the brew when making a small pot, but we never noticed any difference.
9) The 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10-cup measurement lines on the carafe are inconsistent with the lines on the water reservoir. Very confusing. Maybe this was a "feature"?
10) And lastly... it failed after 2 years.

Best Coffeemaker EVER
I absolutely adore this coffeemaker. I got it as a wedding shower gift and everytime i use it my coffee is perfect. Its sleek, easy to clean and delivers my piping hot coffee in minutes. LOVE it!

Not recommended
This coffeemaker has a nice look but is a rather cheaply constructed and is all plastic. The basket is hard to close and then the spring valve that connects the basket to the carafe broke as did the handle on the gold filter. This was after one week of gentle use.
