Egg rings
This is another product my husband and I purchased and we love it. Makes the best eggs. Just crack the egg inside the ring and it is perfect every time; equivalent to the egg for the egg mcmuffin sandwich and we make sausage, egg, and cheese muffin sandwiches. YUM!!

Revolutionary Breakfast Sandwiches!
I love these! They have totally revolutionized my breakfast sandwiches!
I use a large egg in them, but to give them the extra oompf I add extra egg white until it's just below the top of the ring. Then I sprinkle with salt & generous pepper. I cook them for about 4 minutes on medium- so there is just a little gooey egg white on the top. Then I cut them out (when needed) and flip them, letting them cook for just another 1-2 minutes or so.
Once I figured out the 1 1/2 egg thing, my husband started giving me rave reviews. They are so much better!
I use an oil mister to help prevent sticking, but I sometimes use a butter knife to cut around the edge. As another reviewer wrote- let it warm up first to prevent sticking- so I will try that too. Enjoy!

Not worth it
I was really excited to buy this since I make breakfast sandwiches a lot.
You have to oil it up really well or spray it with Pam so that the egg doesn't stick. Also, it rusted around the handle after I hand washed it and let it air dry.
One plus is the folding handle.
All in all I wouldn't spend the money on a second one.

Broke the first use
The handle broke the first time that we used these! Super bummed.

Great for Breakfast sandwiches!
Highly recommend this little gadget. I use it to make homemade breakfast sandwiches on english muffins.

LOVE THIS ITEM!
These egg rings are awesome: Making over easy eggs is a snap now! However, I would recommend spraying the inside with cooking spray. Just a little tip so that the egg slides right out!

Perfectly cooked Sunny Side Up
I had success the first time I used these rings. I prepared the stainless skillet for the eggs, put the rings in the pan, placed one egg in each ring. Waited for the whites to start settling, removed the rings, continued cooking the eggs, coating each with the butter. Voilà, beautifully cooked Sunny Side Up eggs. I was impressed with my creation! I am buying more as gifts. When I find kitchen gadgets that make my cooking experiences enjoyable I usually will buy them as gifts because I have confidence in their function or beauty.

Better Than Nothing
I indicated that I would recommend this only because there's no maybe option. I have two of these and they are helpful but some of the egg always runs out the bottom. I've tried using different pans and placement but it always happens. Maybe I just got an uneven pair? Also, be sure to use cooking oil of some kind. They definitely aren't non-stick.

Good gift but wouldn't buy on my own
Got these as a gift. I love them in theory. Everyone who said you have to spray them with pam is right! I forgot to do this and boy do these things hang on to the egg. They work better with regular eggs and not the jumbo ones as another reviewer had noted. Once I figured out how to properly use these (as is the key with most things) they were kind of fun plus I felt very fancy with my perfectly round eggs.

Love It
I use non-stick spray prior to heating and have had no problems with sticking. The egg does leak out slightly, but I use a knife to hold both sides down and very little comes out. Worth the buy

Love it
This is the first time I bought this item and I am enjoying every time. One tip is that you need to let the ring get warm first. Otherwise, the egg will not let the ring go.

It so works!
I've heard many having trouble with "sticking", "falling apart", and "over cooking the first side" from people.
One idea here was to use butter on the ring, make sure to do that.
In addition, the ring must be hot, make sure to warm it on your cooking surface in advance of trying to cook the egg such as placing it on the skillet while getting your sausage or bacon ready.
One last, key, thought; make sure you are cooking on medium low heat. This way you will not "over cook" the first side of the egg.
In all, I think this product is great! Took me forever to find this but everyone loves it.

Love this!
I bought 2 of these about 4 years ago, and I absolutely love this, makes cooking eggs fun for all!

Egg ring
Love to use this for egg muffins. Makes a perfect round egg.
June 22, 2009
okay
The problem is that the handle gets hot by the time the egg is cooked through. Absolutely don't try to put more than one egg in there; it will never set. But it keeps your egg english-muffin size and doesn't take up too much room in the drawer, because the handle folds down.

Works Great
Very Very neat, makes perfect shaped eggs. Advice: spray with nonstick spray before use to avoid egg sticking!!

Does what I expected
Great concept, and perfect size for egg muffins, but the occasional sticking sometimes makes the egg less than perfectly shaped. The grandkids love to see their eggs cooked in this!

Terrible.
We got four of these as a wedding gift off our registry. I liked the concept and have one old egg ring that was my grandmother's (non-stick of course). These are SO terrible. No matter what I do, the egg sticks like crazy - spray them with pam, get them really hot, spray again. No matter what, huge old egg-stuck mess. On top of that, mine have started to rust around the handle. Just buy the cheapo ones and save your money. I should probably try to return them.

useless
The only way that the egg stays in the ring is to not spray them with PAM. However, the only way to get the eggs out of the rings is to spray them with PAM. They do not sit level on the pan, so, when you put the egg in, it just runs out of the bottom. Same thing with pancake batter. Hence my review title: useless.
