Wonderful chopping board!!
This chopping block is a must have for every kitchen!! I was very impressed with it's size, and durability, as I have purchased other boards in the past and have been disapointed with them. As soon as we received it, my husband and I were anxious to put it to use, and it made the tedious task of chopping vegetables quick and easy. It sits beautifully on our counter when not in use, and clean up is easy. I also purchased the oil sold to maintain its beautiful woodgrain apperance. As a note, I also oil the underside of the board as well as the feet to keep them from drying out. I would definately recommend this to anyone looking for a chopping board that can hold its own in the kitchen, enjoy!!

Great Cutting Board
The best cutting board I have ever owned! It is sturdy and durable, and it looks great if you leave it out on your counter all the time. I am very happy with this purchase!

This chopping block is a feast for the eyes!
I searched high and low at Christmas for a chopping block for my daughter. I looked at all the local stores, the cooking show websites and all were not really a good size or shape not to mention much to look at. The size and design of this one was perfect. When I received it in the mail it was truly a surpirse ! The wood is gorgeous its really a shame to use it!! So of course I had to get one for myself I liked it so much! This will be my go to gift for weddings as I have really never seen one with the quality that Crate and Barrels Chopping block has.

My fiance and I cook quite a lot. We love this cutting board. It is sturdy and elegant. We leave it on the counter even when not using it.

Beautiful and functional
We have had this cutting board for over 3 years now. I love the color of the grain and the sturdiness of it! Not only is it a lovely addition to our kitchen, it is a great quality cutting board as well! We keep it oiled and have not had a problem with it at all!

Love it!
I received this as a Christmas gift from my Son (yes I asked him for it!). I really love it. It sits high on my counter so I don't have to bend over as much to cut. Much more user friendly than the old flat one I had. It is a great color brown. Looks really nice with my cream cabinets.

Most Highly Used!!
This is the most highly used item in our kitchen! We have had it for two years (received it as a gift with the Bamboo Oil), and it is still as good as new. It sits on the counter as a decorative piece, but we use it almost on a daily basis. We've oiled it a few times, which really helps to preserve it. This is a great gift idea!

Buy it. Do it. It's a great cutting board. I use it everyday. Great for bread, veggies, etc. And it looks good in the kitchen too. A great buy for a reasonable price.

Worth the price
It was purchased as a gift for the cooker in the house (take a guess); and it was a welcome addition to the kitchen! All around good quality/feel for the price.

This board looks very nice in our kitchen. We don't use it, just have it for looks. We have noticed the coloring is wearing off of it and we have only had it since March. I can't imagine what it would look like if we actually used it. Not sure if I would spend the $40+ on another one.

Perfect for veggies & bread
I've been wanting a wood-grain cutting board for several years now. We received this one as an engagement gift from a close friend. Love this cutting board! It is perfect for cutting vegetables and bread, and as others mentioned, you could use it to serve your guests.
I would refrain from cutting meats, fish or poultry on this board, but otherwise, it works perfectly. It has a good weight to it, although it's not too heavy, and balances perfectly, which works for any surface.

Great board!
I bought this board about 3 years ago. The original one the leg fell off after 3 months (which is why I'm giving it 4 starts). The nice people at Crate & Barrel gave me a new one. I use this board everyday. I love it! It looks great and very functional. I oil it about ever 2 or 3 months and it looks brand new.

Review Update
I originally gave this cutting board three stars because it had an odd smell, which I thought would eventually go away. After multiple washings and oilings, and letting it sit and air out for over a month, it still smells terrible. I contacted customer service because I thought the cutting board must have been assembled with some kind of glue. They told me it was, and are sending me a pre-paid shipping label and giving me a full refund. Poor product, but great customer service.
