I have seen and heard about this product for some time. I have wanted to get one for my house and was lucky enough for my birthday after my mother bought one for me. The first thing I noticed was the weight and how well it was put together. My very first one was a Hamiliton Beach, and it worked well for years. I have graduated to needing the more professional hardware in my arsenal, but did appreciate what they had to offer. just found myself needing more and can now benifit from the upgrade.

First Food Processor
This is my first food processor, so I don't have anything to compare it to and may be a bit biased. I think that this is EXPENSIVE for a food processor... i love the size, but the max fill line for fluid is very small. I don't ever use it for soups; I use my immersion blender for that. There are tons of pieces and I keep the extra blades and such stored in the work bowl. It is VERY heavy and has a non-skid bottom. It also is hard to clean. For these reasons, I tend to only use it when I really need to and a recipe calls for something blended. I just think it's easier to do chopping on my own. When I do go through the trouble of getting it out, it gets the job done.

Great!
This is a great size for preparing large amounts of vegetables for stews, potato pancakes, ratatouille, etc. It is a bit hard to clean, but worth it if you need to chop in bulk.

Cook's Choice
You can't be any sort of chef without a Cuisinart. It makes pates, dips, sauces, soups in minutes and it's so so easy. if I had just one appliance in the kitchen, it would be this one.

great purchase
We got this for a bridal shower gift and love it though I haven't used it as much as I thought I would because it's not the easiest thing to clean but it's great with meals that you have a lot of prep work for.

Outstanding!
This is an upgrade from a 7 cup, 20 year old Cuisinart food processor. At twice the capacity, this model is perfect for my family, now that I have children! Its sleek styling looks beautiful in my modern kitchen. The powerful motor and consistent texture of chopped/shredded food make this machine a real winner. Making pureed soups and sauces are a snap. The dough blade makes short work of preparing cookie dough for holiday baking.

Classic

This product handles its various tasks very well.. Has a lot of power and very easy to clean parts - just pop most of them in the dishwasher.

Favorite Appliance
I love this processor. I also have the mini chopper and it doesn't even compare. In fact, I've stopped using it. The mini tends to turn everything to 'babyfood' where the full size processor chops without pulverizing. I use it several times a week. I can't believe I waited so long to get one.

Best Purchase Ever
I had been researching food processors for awhile, and this was by far the best deal. It saves so much time in the kitchen and is so easy to use! What is nice also, is you can buy attachments with whisks so you can use it for baking also. My daughter and I use it on a daily basis.

Great tool for every kitchen
We received this as a gift and while my husband wasnt certain we needed it, he was wrong wrong wrong! I have used this for everything from summer berry soup, to salsa, to bread, to slicing vegetables. Of all my kitchen acoutrements, this is one of the most efficient and easiest to use. Easy to clean as well. I recommend watching the dvd that comes with it for some super simple tips and tricks. Fabulous product.

Very durable
This was our first food processor, and we use it at least once a week. It is nice enough to leave on the counter, easy to clean and operate, and drastically reduces prep time when cooking during the week. Highly recommend.

Fantastick, handy tool
I have really enjoyed this 14-cup food processor, as the various blades make chopping and blending easy. There is a lot of cleanup involved, but a solid piece of machinery.
