Absolutely needed this
I have wanted a good food processor for quite some time. Key word being wanted. I didn't know that I needed it until I finally purchased this one. It is small enough to sit on my counter looking pretty and ready to be put to work. And work it does, so well. It makes short work of my pie crusts, pizza dough, shredding mozzarella, Romano, cabbage and carrots. Potatoes are sliced in record time as are onions. Why oh why did I wait so long to purchase this fabulous machine?

Awesome Power and Flexibility!
I bought this as my birthday gift to me for 2012. So far, I've used it twice - to make roasted tomato soup and to make hummus. Both were a breeze! The 9 cup bowl is just right, and while it's a large appliance, it fits nicely with my other appliances. The stainless steel finish is so easy to clean.
The blades are really sharp, so the warnings on the inside of the package are quite welcome (and very important!). One of my best purchases ever.
Also, the price at Crate & Barrel was the best I could find anywhere.

Wonderful!
I bought this processor as a gift for my mother...she absolutely loves it. She loved it so much, I bought one for myself. It's the perfect size for any job, and at a great price.

Best Purchase Ever
If I could marry an appliance, this would be it. I love my food processor--from grating cheese to slicing potatoes, it does it all. I now plan my weekly menu so that it includes a dish where I will need a reason to get out my food processor. I don't know how I lived with out this in my kitchen.

Every kitchen needs this machine. Cuts down on prep time like you wouldn't believe. Putting it together and figuring out it's different attachments was quick and easy and I was prepping and cooking in no time.

One of the GREATEST!!
This is a must in every kitchen!! I love this product. It is very easy to use and easy to clean up. I purchased the 9 cup and was a little affraid it would be too small, but to my surprise... it is a great size. If you have a huge family you might want to purchase the larger one... but really this size is great!!

Favorite Kitchen Utensil!
I got this for a gift and now don't know what I did without it. It has cut my food preparation time easily in half! Great for chopping and slicing veggies and for grating cheese! Plus it is attractive enough to leave on my counter!

Fantastic time saver
So my husband and I had been toying with the idea of a food processor for about two years. We finally broke down and looked at the larger (16 cup) processor but decided it would take up too much counter space. This 9-cup model does just as much, cleans up easily, and does a phenomenal job of shredding, slicing and dicing. A great investment!

Amazing Gourmet
Got this as a housewarming gift and watched the video, then made one of the recipes in the cookbook that comes with it! Fun and easy to use, and easy to clean. No more hand chopping for me! And, this price is such a deal!

So Happy
My mother-in-law bought us this processor for our one year anniversary. We have had it for three days and we have already use it three times. It makes quick work of any chopping, slicing, or shredding, and we have already used to make a delicious hummus that will certainly become a staple in our kitchen. Also, it looks splendid on our long kitchen counter, lending us some kitchen-cred when we entertain guests.

Lifesaver!
This is one of the best time-saving tools ever! We ordering it after trying to use a mini chopper to puree for a meal for 4 with disastrous results. Needless to say we rejoiced when it arrived. A little bulky to store, but entirely worth the space. Order today--do not delay any longer!

Awesome product
I've had this food processor for about a week and have used it twice- to shred cheese, and to make a crumb mixture out of crackers and corn flakes. This product puts my old food processor to shame! The 9-cup capacity is great, wouldn't consider going lower than that, though.
I used the chopping blade to make the crumb mixture- this worked out really well. It turned several cups of cereal and crackers into a coarse powder in seconds. I also used the shredding disc to grate semi-hard cheeses, like cheddar and colby jack- the shredding was fantastic, although when I got to the end of the cheese, it didn't shred as well and kind of smeared on the disc. But, since the parts are all dishwasher safe, clean up was simple.
The only thing I didn't like was that I didn't have a good way to store the shredding and slicing discs when not in use. The slicing disc in particular is very sharp and could easily cut you if you simply throw it in a drawer. I store the chopping blade inside the food processor, and I opted to buy the Cuisinart disc holder to store the discs. Unfortunately, Crate and Barrel doesn't sell this, so I had to buy it elsewhere, but it was only about $20- and worth it. You could also get a larger holder that will keep the slicing blade and other materials in it as well, but it took up way too much counter space. The disc holder can fit nicely in a drawer, and holds up to three discs.
I would definitely recommend this food processor- worth the investment!

Chops like a dream!
Recently, my old food processor started to leak. I took a trip to CB and bought this Cuisinart item, and it is absolutely fabulous! Not only is it dishwasher safe, but it works like a charm. Defintiely makes short work of chopping my kitchen. It is definitely an investment, but it puts my old cheaper processor to shame!
