This knife block works extremely well for a variety of knives. We have a set of Henkel knives but then got steak knives and a couple of Chef knives as wedding gifts which did not fit in the Henkel block. This block accommodates all of our knives, a sharpener and kitchen shears without taking up more room on our countertop. I would highly recommend this block to others.

Holds it all and more
We registered for this knife block since we have a new knife set as well as knives from previous sets that we don't want to get rid of. This block is great because it fits them all in one neat space on the counter. The wood and finish is very nice and is a lot nicer than the block that came with our knife set.

Solid knife block.
We've had this block for about a month and so far it's great!
It's a nice solid piece of wood, which I was a little concerned about since it's labeled, "cherry finish." But I think that's just due to the fact that the wood itself isn't actually cherry wood. Whatever wood it is made of is nice and solid and if you have cherry or reddish stained woodwork in your kitchen like we do, it works really well!

Love it!
We had two seperate knife blocks because we hadn't found one that held all our knives. Problem solved with this block and we have room for more! It's much more convenient, doesn't take up a ton of counter space and looks great. I've never seen one with this type of finish, which we love. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a knive block.

Exceptional product
Very solidly made, high quality wood, looks good on the counter. Holds many different size knives plus the steel and scissors. Our old knife holder was from a designer store and kept tipping over. This one remains firmly planted on the counter. We have been looking for a few years for the right one and this is it. It is rare to find solid cherry wood in a knife block. Others that come with knives do not compare.
