Sleek Salt Mill
I love the look and feel of this salt mill (I also have the accompanying pepper mill). They're on the small side, which means you'll have to fill them up more often than a normal mill. The grind is a bit coarse, which I like, but some might not, if they like to more delicately season their food.

Love these!
We first saw these salt and pepper mills at a restaurant and thought they were really cool, so we were stoked when we saw them available at C&B. We immediately added them to our registry and were delighted with them when we got them.
Being able to have fresh ground pepper and crushed sea salt when cooking and eating dinner makes a world of difference.
Others have said that they can stick, and it's true that at times you do have to give an extra firm push down or shake to get the contents loose again (which is why I gave 4 stars and not 5), but it's not THAT often and we'd buy these again despite that "flaw".
The design is also very sleek and modern and looks great on the dinner table.

Seemed great at first
We loved these at first, especially the one handed-design, and they worked pretty well for a few months. But, over time they got harder and harder to press down and the salt mill became useless altogether. I had seen some bad reviews along these lines, and I guess I should have heeded them, but so many of the reviews were great. I guess the positive reviews are by people who haven't owned them very long. We returned them for store credit.

I have both the salt and pepper. So stylish, and definitely gives just the right amount of salt and pepper. Love them!

big punch in a small compartment
These salt and pepper mills have a lot of oomph packed into a small space. They are heavier than they look, but still very manageable. My husband and I love that we can get freshly-ground pepper without having to use a large cumbersome mill.
Some reviewers have commented that the pepper mill can get stuck; ours has stuck a couple of times, but a quick shake is usually enough to get it going again.
A word of caution about the salt mill: be sure to use a coarse grain of salt. I filled it with a finer kosher salt grain by accident, and it leaked salt out of the grinder without any plunging.

Simply the Best
I was watching Flipping Out on Bravo one night and I saw Jeff Lewis clicking these fantastic salt and pepper mills onto his food. Great design and that supremely cool click, click, click make them terrific accessories for my new kitchen. In fact, they got so much attention, I finally started giving them as gifts.

Sleek and Functional
I love this salt mill. I have never had a problem with them tipping over. Once in awhile you do have to push hard to get the button to go, but it is usually when a grain of salt is stuck.
Great portion control, you get a small amount of salt with each click.

Love 'em!
Bought this set after looking around for quite some time. A novel way to season your food! The only thing I was concerned about was I felt they would probably end up rolling around the kitchen table should they fall over. I picked up a metal french fry holder while I was at the store to make sure they stay put because I don't trust my own clumsiness and it works great and looks good too!

Sleek and Stylish
My husband and I registered for these mills for our wedding. We thought they were fun and different. Modern design. We got a lot of compliments on how neat they are. The only down side is that sometimes you have to push pretty hard on the button for the salt to come out. Usually i shake the mills before i use them to loosen up the salt/pepper. This usually works and then it's easy to use.

How I LOATHE Thee!
I received these as a wedding gift and my hubby and I absolutely hate them - stick to the registry folks...I have to use two hands sometimes to get them to work and the body is so narrow, tall, and top heavy that they topple over every time we use them. I'm looking for new mills to replace these. Don't buy! You can find some decent looking mills that screw that are easy to use. Plus these just look really cold with the straight lines and stainless steel...

Awesome - but test them in the store first!
We received these as a wedding gift and love them. It's great that you don't have to twist them like other salt and pepper mills. The first ones we received had some major scratches from C & B online and the salt grinder didn't work well. I took them into the store and exchanged them. Following the other reviewers' advice, I tried out the ones in the store (much to the employee's hesitation), to see which ones worked the best. I have to admit that several of them I tried didn't seem to work at all. But, after a small salt-and-peppery-mess was created on the floor , I managed to find two that function very well and that we use all the time. They take up virtually no counter space and we get tons of compliments on them. We plan to get a set for my husband's parents. BOTTOM LINE: If you get these...test them out in the store first to make sure they work.

Best Mills Ever.
We love our mini salt/pepper mills! Though they are "mini," we've had ours nearly 2 years and only had to fill them 4 or 5 times.
Everyone who comes over loves them (as soon as they figure out how to work them), and a few friends have gone out and bought them based on their experiences at our house.
I love being able to freshly grind salt and pepper with one hand rather than spinning and turning a large pepper mill, which is always awkward at the table.
We received the silver set for our wedding and bought a red set 2 months later during the after-Christmas sale. Our kitchen has red accents, so they go perfectly.
You have to love fresh, whole tasting salt and pepper flakes on/in your food to love these mills. I do, and I've been spoiled. I can no longer use pre-ground pepper at a restaurant or if we're eating at a friend's house. The powder just doesn't taste right after this experience.

Not smoothe operation
Salt mill in this set works great, pepper mill is not that good. Grind is not smoothe and size of ground pepper, not fit for all dishes. They look very nice, though.

Nice.....but small!
I bought both the salt and pepper grinders.
They are very cute and they work okay (so far)
My only complaint would be that they are smaller than I expected. I will keep them though because I can't find any other ones that "wow" me.
