A whimsical and contemporary take on patchwork, our Avignon taupe area rug creates a multi-textured geo motif with varying pile levels, overtufting and four to five weaving techniques. Made of pure wool, the rug is handwoven on a punja loom. Unlike many flatweaves, the relatively thick rug offers a lot of body thanks to a denser weave and greater number of strands in the yarn. Combining the wool's natural ivory and taupe tones, the rug makes a graphic statement using texture, dimension and depth.
