summary
Decadent, cheesy, a little sweet and very festive, this appetizer has got it all. We’ve made quick work of this cranberry brie pull-apart bread recipe by using store-bought biscuits. Tucking creamy brie and tart fresh cranberries in between butter biscuits results in the most delicious appetizer that is also fun to eat!
ingredients
- 1 (16-ounce/8 biscuit) can refrigerated biscuits
- ¼ pound brie cheese
- â…“ cup fresh or frozen cranberries
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, plus more for pan
- 1 teaspoon Parmesan cheese
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
directions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Butter our Oven-to-Table Snowflake Baking Dish and set aside.
- Cut each biscuit in half and then roll each half into a ball. Starting in the middle of the star, place the balls side by side, filling the entire baking dish. Leave a tiny gap between biscuits and don’t worry if they don’t reach all the way to the edges of the pan as biscuits will expand during baking.
- Cut the brie into several pieces and tuck in between biscuits. Spread the cranberries all over the biscuits. In a small bowl, stir together the butter, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder and parsley. Using a pastry brush, spread the butter mixture all over the top of the biscuits.
- Transfer the dish to the oven and bake until biscuits are golden brown, 20–23 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes and then serve in the dish, allowing guests to pull cheesy biscuits from the pan.
notes
Store-bought biscuits are great time-savers, but you can certainly also make your own.
If you don’t have the snowflake shaped baking dish, you can use a pie dish, but you will need to double the recipe to fill the pan. Or use the original recipe quantities to create a wreath shape, starting on the outer edge of the pie pan and working toward the middle.
You can use fresh or frozen cranberries in this cranberry brie pull-apart bread recipe.
