“I wanted to capture the transitional and artful essence of Crate and Barrel products and went with a neutral and ethereal color palette with textural and autumnal notes to capture the current season.”
Wilson curated everyday essentials that rise to each special occasion for her fave wedding registry items:
“I love the Camille Stemware because they’re functional yet the long stems make a huge statement—perfect for entertaining and look great displayed on an open shelf! The Amuse Serving Boards are perfect for an elevated charcuterie board when entertaining. (They also look beautiful displayed against kitchen backsplash when not in use.) I recommend Toben as a neutral dinnerware for everyday use. Also, food always looks beautiful on white china. You can then purchase colorful chargers, napkins, candles to accommodate any event you are entertaining for. Last but not least, everyone needs a slow cooker. This is all functional, but an absolute must for the busy, modern couple. Throw your ingredients in the pot in the morning and come home to your home smelling of a delicious feast!”
The espresso and pastry bar provided by A Lil Somethin' Sweet was a huge hit for the morning event. Guests all went home with custom agate coasters with their names and wedding date by Blushtype Calligraphy. The sounds by French cafe duo Laura & Anton set a lovely tune. Meanwhile, Camille Goldston provided hair styling at her braid bar and Rito Ito helped couples learn how to make boutonnieres.
“It was really fun seeing all the couples make connections with the vendors and get excited about following up with them for their weddings while registering for Crate and Barrel products. A personal highlight was when a couple told me they registered for every one of my recommended registry items. Cue me blushing!”
We were lucky to have talented local photographer, Lynette Boyle capturing the event.
