WHAT WE’RE LOVING NOW
Introducing a new collection rich with handcrafted detail, inspired by the Portuguese way of living artfully. Relaxed and free-flowing, it’s a point of view that knows the beauty of life is in the space we create.
SHOP THE COLLECTION
With cobbled streets and stunning architecture, Portugal haslong inspired our vision for modern design. And not just itsearthy palette of dusty pinks and rich blues, but also thelifestyle of the people who call the country home—relaxed, casual and welcoming, with a great appreciationfor art and craftsmanship.
Sebastian Brauer, our lead of product design anddevelopment, visits our ceramics workshop in Portugal.
DECOR
Cool and clean with anartful, serene sensibility.
The magic of Portugal’s signature hues lies in their pastel wash. We took cues from homes and storefronts painted vibrant shades of blue, pink and yellow, gently toned down over time. Then we added in texture, from the soft lines of a ribbed vase to the brushed cozy of a fringed throw. It’s textural, must-touch color you’ll love to live with every day.
Surround yourself with what you love, and create a home where you feel themost yourself.
TEXTILES
Ultra-soft and luxurious, ourpure organic cotton beddingand bath towels are an everydayindulgence you’ll look forwardto just as often.
DESIGN HOW-TO
We love the look of a hanging centerpiece—it promises all the flair of traditional styles, but the with the added drama of being suspended mid-air. We asked our stylists how they created this design, made out of just two materials: wire mesh and pampas grass. First, roll the wire about four times to form a loose cylindrical shape. Use a wire clippers to trim any excess wire.
Next, hang the frame from the ceiling using string or clear wire from three to four different spots on the frame. Lastly, add pampas grass stems in any direction or configuration you want. Keep it spare, or fill out the whole frame. We love this idea above smaller dining tables to free up surface area, or above an entryway console to welcome guests with a statement.
Surround yourself with what you love, and create a home where you feel the most yourself.
