This thought-provoking work plays on the idea of subject and object and the act of looking. Broadly brushed in a moody palette of browns, the figure is pictured from behind seemingly gazing at a painting, assuming our role as viewer. Our giclee print of the original acrylic painting is hand-embellished with texture to give it a fresh-from-the-studio look, further complemented by a poplar wood frame finished in black-bronze.
