huge!
This ice cream bowl is huge- I can double most of my favorite ice cream recipes! It makes ice cream a little more quickly than my old Cuisinart freezer bowl machine. The plastic piece on the inside (churner?) doesn't always scrape the sides down as well as I would like and doesn't always like when I add mix-ins (it really doesn't like slivered almonds) but those are easy enough to mix in by hand.

Awesome ice cream maker
My wife and I bought this with some wedding gift money and love it! We're always buying ice cream and enjoy making our own. It takes a little extra effort but it's well worth it.

Fantastic Attachment
We bought this ice cream maker attachment to make our father home made ice cream for father's day. If you are planning to make it for a special occasion, just remember you have to store the bowl in the freezer for 15 hours before us. The ice cream's consistency was great, and I would recommend this because it was very easy to use with the stand up mixer.

No more ice!
When our ice cream maker bit the dust, we bought this one -- since we had the KA Mixer and because it didn't require ice/salt. I finally tried it out the other day and couldn't have been happier.
It worked so well and the ice cream was delicious. I used the recipes provided in the manual and they were great also. It so nice to just freeze the bowl and not have to worry about making or buying enough ice to make a batch of ice cream!

Great Product!
Love this ice cream maker! We received the mixer and ice cream maker attachment for wedding gifts and use them to make ice cream often. We just made mint ice cream today. It takes a little prep time getting the bowl frozen but once you do that, the time it takes to make it is really minimal. We've made lots of different flavors and have enjoyed them all!

works great
I would hate to have a whole 'nother machine just to make ice cream, and with this all I needed was the mixing attachment and the frozen bowl (since we already had the mixer itself). So easy to store- I actually just keep the bowl in my freezer so it's always ready to go. it works great and quickly- I can have soft serve ready in about 20 minutes.

Easy but bulky
I love my ice cream maker. We rarely buy store bought ice cream any more. We keep this in our freezer so that we can make ice cream on a moments notice. The only down side is that it is bulky and takes up a lot of space in the freezer. It takes a long time to really freeze (over-night) so if we didn't have space in the freezer to store it I doubt we would use it as often. Excellent for the price. Works well.
