Worked great until it broke...
When the product worked it was adequate for putting tomatoes through it; took some time to put a 28oz can of tomatoes through it but the sauce was smooth and without seeds, skins, etc.
After using it 4 times to do this the raised metal holding the spring in place broke off due to the pressure placed on the spring from the milling.
I understand the "you get what you pay for" but four uses? Fail.

not very good
I bought this food mill to replace a cheap one I acquired years ago - this one is no better - you get what you pay for. It was difficult to crank and needed help in just grinding tomatoes. Don't waste your money. Big disappointment.

Pretty piece, inadequate tool
Though the funnel is a good size, the paddle is very small. Too small to handle tomatoes, potatoes, apples, or other fruit.
It's also hard to change inserts.
Disappointing.

Love this food mill!
I've used this a number of times already and so far I love it. Made the smoothest tomato sauce! It cleans up really well and easy to use! Seems pretty sturdy!

defected design
I have found this product to have a defect in the blades. It will not turn as the blades are upside down, creating a crating that will not allow the mill to process smoothly. If the design was correct it would be a great food mill.
