To master this complicated technique, we relied on a team of highly skilled craftsmen who specialize in a kind of wire weaving that's been passed along from generation to generation. Entirely handcrafted, each chair is made in three stages—frame construction, wire patterning and final welding—by expert metalsmiths. Once finished, the chair is given a light acid wash bath yielding a grey iron patina and subtle brass weld marks. Available alone or with a custom-made black or brown leather cushion.
