Rated 5 out of 5 by Holly H from Perfect tableI bought this table to update my kitchen and it is perfect. Heavy duty, easy to clean and great looks. A few things I discovered about it after living with it for a month - 1. the top is metal so anything magnetic sticks to it (like the magnet in iPad covers, etc.) 2. The seams in the top go all the way through so if you spill a glass of milk in the middle of the table, it drips down to the floor beneath. 3. Crumbs love the cracks, but I bought crumb brush from C&B that works perfectly and the crumbs eventually do fall all the way through. 4. If you tap the table it sort of echoes because it is a sheet of metal. All of these little discoveries have made me LOVE the table even more than I did when the awesome delivery guys carefully brought it into my home. Thrilled all the way around!

Rated 5 out of 5 by nolaJP from The "new elegant"My husband and I bought this dining table a few weeks ago for our new home. We just moved from our graduate school/big city apartment (tiny) to a single-family home for our growing family, and we're hoping to create a warm, welcoming space for friends and relatives since for years we've not had the ability to host groups of people for dinners. We aren't "formal dining" types, but we did want an elegant, inviting piece of furniture with clean lines and a non-pretentious vibe as part of our home. This piece is perfect! It has the class and sophistication I was hoping for, but it is also sturdy - perfect for a home with two toddler boys. The steel top seems durable and I think will wear well over the years. We bought the matching sideboard, and six Basque chairs to go with it. Excited to have many special meals together around this table.

Rated 5 out of 5 by suzcrim from Love the unique styleWe bought this a few months ago for our recently finished basement. We love both the style and durability of the table. It is the one piece of furniture that everyone asks "Where did you get this?". We paired it with 6 of the Origin 18" stools and it looks great. So far, the top has held up beautifully - easy to clean and no worries about the high volume of kids using it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jeffg928 from Nice, easy, imperfectThe table was the easiest to put together. Took me more time to get my neighbor to help me flip it over than it did to insert the 4 legs and tighten 8 bolts. The table is very sturdy and solid. The table top is not flat, with the outer two of the three steel "boards" pitched away from the center one, one more than the other. This is possibly fixable by loosening and tightening the bolts that connect them. However, I don't feel that a $1000 table where the top comes assembled should not be flat.I am possible returning this, not because of the tabletop, but because I am not sure it fits my more modern decor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jills from Gorgeous! This table is even better looking in person. The top has a wonderful soft texture, color is slightly variegated for interest and it's incredibly sturdy. We have it matched with the Lyle side chairs and it makes a stunning set. Highly recommend this table!

Rated 5 out of 5 by blarson from Love it!We purchased the Galvin table for our newly remodeled kitchen. The table is extremely sturdy and will sit 8. We searched for chairs to go with it, and ended up purchasing the Elston chairs because the legs of the table and wood in the backs and seats of the chairs are all mango. It looks wonderful together! A previous review mentioned scratching on the chairs from pockets. This possibility concerned us, but we decided to embrace it as the distressed look if it happens! We have not noticed any yet! We are thrilled with our purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by KatyT from Great buy for the price! My husband and I have been looking for industrial chic type furtniture. Some pieces are various retailers are outrageously expensive. This piece is great for the price, and there's no skimp on quality. You can tell it's a very solid table. The metal top is heavy, and seems very durable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by morgan from No way to mar the surface, great for kidsBeen on the lookout for a long time for a dinning room table that's just the right length, height, and material. I feel like Goldilocks...Materials - Currently had a 50" square metal framed table, with glass on top. Love the glass, easy to clean, hot plates directly on it. Scratches sure, but no dents, dings, damages that cut through stained wood with kids. Our "Kitchen" table IS the "Dinning" room table. So it has to do everything. With the steel top, I believe it will hold up similar to the glass. There are Grooves / Seams between three sheets of metal. food will get in there I know. But it's part of the deal. Go with the Parson's solid top concrete table if you want a smoother surface. the panels line up pretty well, but it's not 100% even.Let's talk size - 60 to 65" table is good enough for the 4 of us on daily eating. with guests, we wanted something to seat 8. 4 adults. 4 kids in high chairs. we found a strange gap in tables. The next jump for something like Basque, was 82". or extension tables (more on this later). This one being 72" seems to fit just enough for daily use, and big enough for 8. I wish we had room for something bigger, but alas.Table height / leg clearance - I'm big. my friends are big. 6'4" 250lbers all of us give or take. table height has become standard around 29.5 to 30. Ok fine there. But I've found that the UNDER table height is just as important. This table "starts" the top's metal frame at 27.5" - this is great for my legs to get clearance. Some extension tables - with their multiple slats going horizontally to support the weight and physical extension, have upwards of 6" boards reducing the clearance under the table, and we just can't fit.So if that makes sense to you. it's a good purchase. Table also breaks down as mentioned into 4 legs, and 3 six foot long by 12" wide "boards" of galvanized steel. So it is easy to transport in the future. I loaded it into a 4 door no problem.enjoy! we'll see how the galvanized steel surface holds up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HeatherPlano from The Perfect Family Friendly TableMy husband and I were struggling with finding the right table for our family. When we saw this table we knew it would be perfect. Doesn't look dirty like glass and any scratches will make the table look cooler over time. We got it the week before Thanksgiving and all of our 30+ guests commented on it's beauty, style and uniqueness. These were guests from 20's-70's. We love it!
