Unexpected gift
My fiance and I received this in a tea themed gift along with the tea kettle from our registry. What a lovely product. My fiance took it to the office with him and brewed his tea at his desk! Easy to care for and makes a delicious cup of loose leaf tea.

Best Infuser Yet!
When I purchased this infuser stick, I was looking for something small that would work in a tea cup, so that I wouldn't always have to use my larger teapot. I have used the traditional mesh infuser ball and it does not allow the tea to fully expand and release flavor. I was very excited for this stick to arrive in the mail because I was hoping it would change my tea experience. Luckily for me, it did! This infuser stick is a revolutionary invention that allows the drinker to have the same quality of tea in a single cup, that one would only usually find if they used a large infuser teapot. I highly recommend this item to any loose-leaf tea lover!

Great for loose tea.
This is a great loose tea infuser. Use it at work all the time, can get a little messy - but over all great!

Exceedingly disappointing
It did not occur to me to check the reviews on this before I purchased it. I concur with the complaints: very difficult to clean, tea flows through the holes. It is very poorly designed.

Not Happy With This Product
The holes on this infuser are way too large and the tea leaves come out while infusing. I should have read the reviews before purchasing and bought the cheap $2.99 mesh ball from the grocery store. I would not waste my money on this infuser and plan to return it.

Not so great!
Although it was convenient to be able to just stick this into my teacup and then take out when it was done brewing, I have several complaints against it. 1.) the tea leaves come out of the infuser while brewing so you still have to strain it out before drinking. 2.) In order to get the dry tea leaves out of it, you have to hit the infuser very hard against something to loosen them. 3.) It is nearly impossible to clean this item by hand because it so narrow. Do not be fooled into buying this product because it looks unique and convenient. It is not worth the hassle involved with it.

loved it!
I bought this as a stocking stuffer for my mom for Christmas. She said she was so happy to have something that the tea leaves didn't fall out of like her last teaball.

There to Stay
This tea infuser looks sharp but it suffers from one major design flaw: the near impossibility of emptying it of used leaves. I have tried it with large-leaf oolong and small-leaf black tea, and both gum up inside. I tried soaking it, pouring water over it, and every other reasonable means of dislodging the tea; those methods failed. I had to find a thin paper clip to poke it out. This was exceedingly time-consuming and wasteful of water. Did anyone try this before they put it in the store. This was an impulse purchase by me; I recommend that everyone else resist the impulse, as I wish I had.

Too Hard To Clean
It works fairly well and I've also had some minor tea leaf leakage, but it is really hard to clean! Once the tea gets wet it sticks in the tube and you need something skinny and long to stick in the tube to loosen it up. Not a great design.

Serves it's purpose
It's a beautiful tea infuser. I've had some slight leakage of the tea leaves but no more than other tea infusers I've used. I know someone complained about it being hard to clean but I find if I dump the leaves out and run it under the tap upside down it's fine. I'd buy another.

This product works great, and it looks really cool!

Should have read the other review first
I was pretty excited about this tea infuser. However, the first time I put my loose leaf yerba mate in it, it all leaked out in the surrounding water, completely defeating the purpose of the tea diffuser. Very disappointing, yet not worth the money to try to return it.

Works well, but hard to clean
I usually don't buy anything for the kitchen that I can't get my hand into to clean, but I spaced on this item, and now I'm sorry I bought it. It works well, but it's a narrow cylinder. The wet tea leaves wad up inside and, well, you know the rest. I'm going to get another tea infuser, and this one's going in the donation bag.
