LOVE these towels!
I received these towels as a shower gift a few years ago and I recently went back to buy them again. They are very absorbant and awesome for drying dishes. I feel like so many towels don't absorb the water, but these certainly do. They wash well and last forever as well. I just replaced the ones that I had for almost 3 years.

Flour Sack Towels - Excellent
It is rare to find such absorbent towels as these. They dry dishes much better than anything I could find in stores where I live. I would highly recommend them.

Just what I wanted
I read so many reviews complaining of stiffness of the towels that I was concerned. I received my shipment and they were as soft as could be. I ordered 2 sizes and both were soft so not that stiff as canvas that many led to believe. I use them for baking bread and they are just what I needed

love these towels
I'm steering away from the pretty, less functional towels so these are perfect! I love how absorbent they are, how big they are, and how I can wash them in hot water to insure they are nice and clean for kitchen use.

Flour sacks
are flour sacks. Some are skimpy, Crate and Barrel's are very large. I use them for everything!

Dry Fast & Last
I adore using flour sack towels. They dry fast and shed no lint. They are especially handy for entertaining. Some reviewers have complained about the large size, but the size is advantageous because you can find a dry area when you need it. I ordered nine flour sack towels online to replace my old ones, which lasted seven years! They have started to look dingy and stained, so I cut the old ones in half and retired them to the rag bin. I also ordered 12 more as hostess gifts, qualifying for free shipping to the gift recipients and myself. You can't beat that. I will never revert back to the stylish dish towels that leave lint on the dishes and need replacing often. NEVER.

Does the Job
I don't find these to be quite as thirsty as regular old flour sack towels, but they do have a little bit more of a "linen" like texture to them so they may hold up longer than cheaper flour sack towels that seem to turn to shreds on me with time.

Thread Count Low!
Upside-Great Size
Downside-Low thread count, almost shear-would not buy again! Bought to embroider for part of shower gifts this summer. Very disappointed in thread count. Machine washed one towel and it did not "shrink" substantially to make weave more dense.
Am considering sewing two together to get a thicker towel.

A Kitchen Must Have
I use them for everything, but I really love the way they dry fruits and vegetables when I wash them. No lint.

kitchen staple
these are a must have. i use them mainly for drying or keeping rolls warm before dinner. they are large like others have said, but it really doesn't matter.

Great Towels
Had some really great dish towels which were showing their age and really needed to be replaced. I thought these were the exact same thing but when they came the material is a bit different. However, I really like these new towels too. Yes, they are quite large but that is what I like........ great for drying your dishes and no lint left behind.

drying dishes
These are great towels. My aunt gave them to me at my wedding shower. It's one of a few gifts I use everyday. Now that we have nice glasses and flatware -- also from C&B, for the wedding -- I like to towel dry them so they don't spot. These work beautifully and have held up really well for several months so far.

JUST WHAT I NEEDED!!!
I bought these towels to use for squeezing the water out of frozen spinach. This fits the bill perfectly. I hand wash them in a Lock & Lock, dry on kitchen hook & store back in the L&L till needed again (more sanitary than washing machine). This towel squeezes all the water from the spinach, quickly & effectively & I can use it over & over again. These towels are huge, so I actually cut the one I use for spinach into quarters (so I actually have 4 towels for straining) just put a little 'No Fray' or liquid seam on cut seams. Since these come 3 in a pack, I have 2 other towels that I use for drying my hands while cooking...has saved me $ in paper towels. These are great for polishing water spots off glassware & silverware (no fuzz or lint left behind). I wash them all in the same manner so I know they are kitchen-sanitary. These towels could be used for a variety of kitchen chores. I will definitely be purchasing more of these. I can see why my Grandmother always used this kind of towel...they're fantastic!

Great, absorbent dish towel
I love these towels! They actually absorb the water on the first swipe and don't leave any fibers behind. I only wish they were a bit smaller.

A must have!
Excellent all purpose cotton towel. I can remember always having these around growing up. Time proven and trusted. C&B's are exceptional in quality and price.

Best kitchen towels
These towels are absorbent and do not leave behind any "fluff" that comes off of many other dishtowels. They can be used in a variety of different ways - a must for any kitchen.

Who Knew?
These are the single best addition to my kitchen in years. Who knew that a simple dish towel could have such an impact? They are so absorbent, and wipe things not only completely dry in one swipe, but leave behind no fuzz or threads like other towels. So clean and convenient! They also wash well and dry quickly. These are a MUST HAVE!
