Pretty and Useful
Several weeks ago I bought 4 of these for making individual servings of casseroles, etc. They are perfect -- I have even broiled a portion of fish in one. While I am unlikely to make creme brulee, I will continue to use these often.
I also really like the pristine look of them. Food looks so good in white!

Got a set for my bridal shower. I think it has a great price point, much cheaper than some other specialty stores.

These dishes are hard to find!
I am so happy to have found these dishes at Crate and Barrel. Have looked and looked in kitchen stores and department stores, with no luck. Perfect size and so pretty. They can be used for many things. Having these dishes pushed me to finally make Creme Brulee. What a wonderful dessert and so comforting. Not difficult either.

Looking forward to using them
I only rated this with 4 stars because I have just recenly got these and have not had a chance to make anything in them yet. My husband says they are the perfect size for individual rustic apple pies. I think they would also be good for cobblers, crisps, and tarts as well as creme brulee. I am also excited to use them for baked egg dishes.

Just the right size. They say 7oz but really only hold 6 oz so that they won't overflow. Delivery was extremely prompt.

The perfect product
These dishes are exactly what I was looking for. I ordered on line, and in 2 days, they were on my front porch!! Can't get any better than that!!!!

Creme Brulee Dish
This creme brulee dish is fantastic for desserts, but I also use it in a creative way, too.
Since I am not a fan of serving my three children on plastic plates, I serve my toddlers meals on these. They are very pretty, the perfect size, very durable and, most importantly, I don't have to worry about any health hazards that can be found with plastic. (Of course, I wait until they are past "the shoving plates and cups on the floor stage", to ensure their safety.)
Plus, my children love them because they feel "fancier" than a standard, kids plate. Our family loves these!

Perfect Ratio
These dishes make for the perfect ratio of crusty brulee and creamy creme. Perfect size for dessert!

Small Portions
Rather than using a large tart pan and a full recipe, I baked a chocolate tart in these. Great for portion control as well and just pretty when presenting dishes.
