Great Pail
I've had this pail for a couple of years. I was amazed how well it hides odors. With the lid on, it can be filled with onions and garlic and sitting right their on the counter and no one would know.

Still doesn't smell!
I've been using this compost pail for over a month now and have not emptied it yet. I've put everything from banana and orange peels to tea bags and coffee grounds. It is in the cabinet under the sink and you'd never know it! I love it so far!

convenient way to compost
This can is very useful in the kitchen for composting. Its size fits easily under the sink and the charcoal filters keep unpleasant odors away.

stink free
Bought this with extra filters (which were for a different purpose). Works as promised.
I have added lock washers on the handle nuts which seem to work off and fall into the compost at the most inopportune time.

Love This Compost Pail
I bought one of these for myself and my mom. Before, we were just using a bowl on top of our counter for food scraps. This looks great and works great. Eliminates odor and so easy to clean. Everything I was looking for. Love it!

Pretty, yet practical
I've been using this for about 3 months and the most surprising thing about this compost bin is that it doesn't stink when the lid is closed. The charcoal filters are doing their job. After I dump the contents out in my compost pile, I just wash it out and start filling it up again. The stainless steel washes clean and there is no rust or smell. I am happy with my purchase.

wonderful product
Great bin.... metal.. and comes with 2 inserts that last 6 months each... has refillable inserts... very sleek and pretty stainless steel. customer service was great to work with when i inquired about the filters that come with the product... ordered the product on thursday and had it by the coming monday! love these guys... quality product, great customer service and speedy shipping.

lots to learn
ok this is my first compost experience so i am a newbie. things i have learned: 1. do NOT let the compost sit in there for a whole week LOL take it out to the dump site like no more than 4 days at a time. Buy the bags, they are good and keep it simple to wash, however, make sure when you go to do your dump, you take the whole pail with you, IN Case things are dripping (ICK) take to the pile THEN pull the bag out, the remains can decompos very quickly and if you smell a funny smell in your kitchen one day, dont dismiss it, you probably need to take that bad boy out LOL so now i know not to wait a whole week! The filters ARE washable if you need to, like i did this one time, becasue i wasnt going to waste one so soon after i had bought it, they are supposed to last 6 months. I have a garbage desposal so i am not sure how much benefit i am going to reep, but i still like the idea, and i am hopeful that my veggie garden will reep the beni's once i really start composting. The hassle factor is minor (though my hubby is NOT happy about having to do ONE more thing LOL) The product itself is made well and looks nice on my counter, it is pretty big, so make sure you have room.

I have been looking for one of these and this one is it. If I forget to put it under the sink, it looks like an ice bucket on the counter. Love it.

Easy to be eco-friendly with this
My friends have had this pail for years and I coveted it for as long, then received it as a shower gift from them last summer. It's the perfect size for our two-person household and the filters work like a charm: no smells, no fruit flies, etc. It makes composting from the kitchen easy.

Why yes, we do love our compost pail.
We have had other pails... bamboo to be specific...and this one is the best. Durability that surpasses other designs and will last a long time. We were excited to get it as a wedding gift. We use ours daily and it is perfect. Drop the lid on this one and it doesn't break. You just can't say that about a bamboo composter.

Perfect solution to an icky problem
So long as this container is emptied every two to three days, it is a marvelous thing to have. It helps keep the counter and sink free of compost, makes it easier to stick with our goal of composting everything we can, and is handy to care outdoors to the bucket/compost pile. It's also easy to clean (with the garden hose or the dishwasher, as you prefer). I have had my pail for about a year and have replaced the filters once.

counter composter
This compost pail exceeds our wishes for a counter top compost pail. It looks good on the counter but most important is the filter which totally traps odors. We also purchased the biodegradable liner which makes emptying the pail a breeze. Capacity of the pail is perfect. Any larger and it would take up too much counter space and would likely tip the scale to a more offensive odor or worse yet, fruit flies.

newbie
This was a housewarming gift to myself! I have never composted, but always wanted to. I bought the pail, biodegradeable liners, and replacement charcoal filters back in July. I really like it--it looks great and there's no odor! My only problem is it's almost full and I'm not sure what I'm going to do--I live in a condo and don't have a compost pile!!

Perfect Pail
This little compost pail is wonderful. I use it all on a daily basis for our leftover scrap foods. It is the perfect size to sit on the counter or under our sink. It is of great quality and it does not leak or stink. Something very important to me. And it composts soundly and quickly. The compost from my pail has done wonders for my garden. And living in Las Vegas, that's saying something!
If you are someone who is into recycling and composting, this is a must buy for you. I absolutely love my compost pail.

beautiful and eco friendly
I love my stainless steel compost pail! It is always on my counter within an easy reach when I am preparing food. It looks good and has no odor. The charcoal filters do a wonderful job of collecting any odor from the food waste. I can take this to my outdoor compost bin and create wonderful mulch for my flowers. The stainless steel keeps its luster. I have found some small biodegradeable liners that make the clean up easy.
I highly recommend this product!

Looks great, works great
I've had this for over a year and I've been very happy with it. During our hot Kansas summers the compost in our kitchen used to reek, but with this pail you can't smell a thing even when it's full. Looks great on my countertop, cleans up easily. I highly recommend this for every kitchen.
