SLIP AND SLIDE
Product looks nice and cleans well but spins like a top, not helpful when you are busy in the kitchen.

A little expensive for what it offers
Nice product, but it tends to slide on the stove. Would have liked to have some kind of non-slip surface on the bottom to prevent it from moving.
Cleans well; have had it for almost 2 yrs now and no rust or discolouration.
I also think that the price is a little steep. Since i try to avoid plastic as much as possible, it was a fair choice.

Avoid
As another review said: the bottom on this is not flat and it spins continually whenever you place anything on it. This can be a hazard near a stove top. There are much better and less expensive options out there.

DISAPPOINTED
Maybe I just got a defective spoon rest, but it does not sit properly on the stove top. it is constantly spinning around and moving. It does look nice though.

Solid Kitchen Addition
This stainless steel spoon rest is very shiny and solid. I have it next to my black stove-top on top of a dark granite and it really pops. Great purchase!

Great Kitchen Accessory
Who knew that a spoon needed it's own place to rest?! I've been looking for a container of sorts for my counter to hold spoons while cooking, and this product is ideal. I made a tomato sauce tonight and rather than having the stovetop and counter covered in sauce splatters, I simply put my wooden spoon in the spoon rest each time I removed it from the pot. Once I was done cooking, the only cleanup was a quick rinse of the spoon rest itself. It's an attractive design and a great size for even large serving spoons and soup ladles. I highly recommend it!
