Perfect size and doesn't rust
Love the size and price of this strainer. Stores and cleans easily. Use it for canned veggies and as a strainer for seeds when I "ream" lemons. Great purchase!

I have only used it as a sifter so far and it does the job perfectly. It's even dishwasher safe!

Perfect size
My go to strainer. Used for powder sugar and/or defrosting peas for salad or berries for desert.

Sturdy Mesh Strainer - Great Design
The mesh is sturdy enough & not too tiny of holes so it can strain foods quickly, but will be easy enough to keep clean (I use a soft kitchen brush & go over both the inside & outside of my strainers). I do own a larger 'antique' strainer with a helper handle, but it is aluminum. The helper handle is a rarely offered feature now a days & I was delighted when I found this one at Crate & Barrel. I will continue looking for more helper handled type colander/sieves in stainless steel for various kitchen jobs.

Great addition to any kitchen
I find I use this strainer-sifter more than any other size I own. It does a great job sifting dry ingredients, but I've also used it while thawing frozen berries and straining seeds and pulp from citrus juice, among other things. Its easy to grab at a moment's notice, and doesn't crowd the dishwasher. Great purchase!

A great little sifter
Love this sifter for the small jobs. Great for flour, powder sugar and all the regular stuff. Handle well, stores nicely and easy to clean. If you are the type to make sure you have everything needed at all times this is a great little friend to have at the ready.

Great Sifter/Strainer
Excellent for sifting flour, dusting desserts
with powdered sugar, and straining canned beans. I'd highly recommend this strainer-sifter to anyone.
