I like the deep grooves, it picks up quite a bit of honey. But as others have said, not the most durable product for the dishwasher. I hand wash mine and don't have a problem with it holding up.

This honey dipper reminds me of my childhood. We always had honey out for tea with a honey dipper. Just so cute and does the job!

An Average Dipper
The Honey Dipper is a great utensil to add to a small gift. Although the wood quality is good, after many, man trips to the dishwasher, the wood is not so perfect any more.

I got this in order to replace my old one.
This one is particularly nice since the grooves are deep (at least much deeper than my old one) Nice product for a nice price.
