Great party favor !
Learned about these from a friend so when our daughter wanted to have Root Beer floats for her birthday party, I thought, party favor !!! The straws were a hit ! I agree with some earlier reviews that say they aren't the best for thicker shakes, smoothies, etc. Worked great for the floats and to eat any remaining ice cream. I even bought extra for us to have at home.

Can't live without them
These spoon-straws are the best invention ever made. Perfect for mixing your drink, then sipping it all up! Your drink can be mixed perfectly at all times without having to keep a separate spoon at the ready. Can't live without them!!

Love These Straws!
These straws are fantastic! My family loves to drink beverages with straws but the eco-friendly side of me shuttered when we were throwing away 20 straws a day. The reusable plastic ones were just icky. These are perfect! My kids (and my husband and I) like them way better than a regular straw. They come out perfectly clean after putting them in the dishwasher. I started with 4 but am going to buy more. The little spoon is nicely situated so that you can still get to the bottom of the glass with the straw.
2 "problems" -- as someone else stated... You can't use these with a smoothie at all. It would be nice if they came in 2 sizes because I like how narrow this is for regular drinks but would like an alternate for smoothies.
The second thing is really a suggestion. I wish they came in colored stainless! I think they would look really cool and be easier to keep separate.

Great!
I bought several of these sleek spoon-straws for mixing cocktails and summer drinks and they are perfect. The straw is very thin it probably is not good for any thick drinks and the spoon is fairly small so if you're looking for a shake or chunky smoothy spoon-straw this probably isn't it.
As I have found out, these are perfect for rootbeer floats! They are stylish and the straw is fairly long so it doesn't get lost in a regular sized cup.

Not for Smoothies
Well, the description is correct, this would be good for tea or lemonade. I was looking for something for smoothies or milk shakes, so I wanted something with a wider straw. This straw is way too thin. The material is great and sturdy though and the length is nice, but I don't recommend it for any beverage you would make in a blender that could have food or ice chunks, it would never fit through the straw.
