Great tea kettle!
I initially bought this tea kettle a year ago because I liked the look. As it turns out it has exceeded my expectations in looks and function. After a year of regular use it still looks and works great!

Graet pot
This kettle works great. Heats water quickly and whistles as appropriate. Looks nice with all stainless appliances.

Thoroughly Pleased
Looks great on my flat top stove and I can hear it whistle from my bedroom upstairs with the TV on quietly. Usually I am only brewing for myself one cup of tea and it is a bit larger than I thought it would be - but I will be prepared for teas time with friends. It is very easy to use, refill, etc. This is the first tea kettle I have ever owned and I am pleased.

Just whistle
not a frequent tea drinker, but family is. we just moved - twice - while waiting for our new house to be ready. NEEDED a tea kettle that whistled so i would not burn the house down - had already let water burn right out of a pot or two....
plus it is beautiful, functional and does not get too hot to handle even on a commercial strength stove. Love this kettle!

Great quality
Excellent product! The handle remains cool to the touch and the grip is great. Easy to clean, good design, fulfills its function perfectly. I'm happy I got this kettle!

I make tea all the time in this kettle. The tapered stainless steel body is quite attractive. And it is very functional - the handle is comfortable and the spout pours cleanly.

What you would expect...
My kids requested a "whistling" tea kettle. Purchased this one a few months ago and it does what is expected. Boils water and whistles nicely. good product.

This OXO Classic Brushed Teakettle has all of the simple features that will make it last.
So many others have gone by the wayside with broken handles, lids or whistlers.
This one eliminates all of the poor designs of the others plus is attractive and very functional.

Excellent Tea Kettle
I received this tea kettle for Christmas and I love it. It is very easy to use. The handle doesn't get too hot, and because the handle can move back and forth, it is very easy to fill and clean. The whistle is loud, but no obnoxious. It also looks so nice and clean sitting on my stove top. I would definitely recommend this tea kettle.
