Design Problem
This soap dispenser only worked for about a week. There is something wrong with the actual function on the pump. I tried several times to fix it and even used a different soap but it still would not work.

Stylish $ Saver
Pros: Stylish replacement for other soap dispensers; Saves money, and the environment; great for parents
Cons: Sluggish, even when following directions; Suction cup is non-functional
We've owned this for a year, and we've been very happy with it overall. We especially like that it's easy for our preschoolers to use, and they like to feel a lot of soap when they wash their hands. There are a few things that keep it from being 5 stars though... The suction cup on the bottom does not work very well, even on the solid countertop, however it is sturdy enough that it doesn't tip over.
It is important to note that there are fill lines on the back for adding soap and then water. Depending on the brand of soap, you may need LESS than the indicator mark... saving you even more money! If the soap/water ratio is too soapy, the handle does not pop back up, requiring you to lift it ocassionally. This can be fixed by adding more water and clearing the pump mechanism. Once we figured out the soap/water ratio for our non-antibacterial Softsoap, which is 15% soap to 85% water, we combined them in another container first, then filled the pump. We would buy it again, but there is definitely a learning curve!

Great Soap Pump!
My husband actually picked these soap pumps out as he loves foaming hand soap! These were an awesome purchase not only do they look great they are going to save us money on soap! We love them and think they work great. Thanks Crate&Barrel!

Great addition
We love this addition to our bathroom. With 4 kids we were going through a ton of soap and this is a real savings. The kids love the foam and it is much cheaper than using specialized foaming soap. The suction cup holds really well too.

Works great but not quite perfect
I really like this foam soap dispenser. We've been using it for over 2 months now and are pleased. It could use some improvements such as making the lid easier to screw on (one quick turn sounds good but isn't quite so foolproof as it might sound). When our pump stuck, a quick rinse off with warm water solved the problem. I love the savings on soap and have not had any problems with one-hand dispensing or messy drips.

Fussy
I bought three of these pumps. I had problems with one of them in particular so I exchanged it. I also had problems with the new one so I ended up returning it. Even though I followed the instructions for the diluted amount of soap, it refused to pump. The other two work just OK. The pump seems to be really fussy about the style of soap that is used. It would be great if this plastic style had a regular pump instead of the foaming type. Great to use in the shower where glass or metal is difficult to maintain or unsafe. To be fair, the sales person did tell me that this could happen. Not sure how many people would have the patience to mess around trying to figure it out so it works well.

Streamlined beauty
I've enjoyed using this clever and attractive foam soap pump for over six months and have had no problems with it. You mix just a smidgen of liquid soap with water so this is an economical little item that pays for itself quickly. Foam is a practical way to wash hands, and it's fun too.

I Love It!!
I purchased the Foam Soap Pump for my kitchen, because I liked the appearance. I didn't realize how much I would like the performance!! We use much less liquid soap, so economically it is a big plus. I also like the foaming action of the soap. My family likes this pump so much, that my husband purchased 4 of them for use in his office! Thanks Crate and Barrel!

Better than I thought
I bought this pump so I could stop buying the hand soap bottles ans just buy the refills. Now I know you buy refills and refill the store bought pumps, but Imlove the way this dispenser looks. And honestly, I had no idea that you could mix regular hand soap with water and have it come out foamy. I love foam soap because it's less messy than regular hand soap. This dispenser stays in place. It looks great. And it will save me not only money in the long run, but it will also mean less bottles to recycle, which always helps the environment. This is a really nice product.

Foam Soap Pump
This is the best product ever! You put a tiny little bit of soap in the pump and fill the rest with water! Oh my God! Do you know how much money I'm saving on any liquid soap that I buy, and how far it stretches? In my current economy "crunch" I am enjoying the rich look and saving money at the same time.

Good looks, poor performance
I really liked the looks of this, but found it difficult to use because the pump sticks in the down position, and I had to manipulate it with both hands to get the soap out, so I just put it in the pile of stuff to give to charity. Never had this problem with a soap pump before, especially one that I consider a bit pricey.

Great Little Foam Pump!
I've been looking for a foam pump for the kitchen for a while. This one fits the bill. The discreet marks on the botttle are great if you prefer to make your own foaming soap. It costed a little more than I wanted to spend but it works great and looks good too. I've only had it about a week and have gotten several compliments already!

Not Good
I bought this pump in the hopes of saving money on the foam soaps I usually buy. Not so....it doesn't work. Has not worked from the first use. I followed directions to the letter, but soap comes out around the lid instead of the pump. I am very disappointed in the quality of this product. I would not recommend anyone to buy it.

So far, so good, looks great!
I was so happy to see a nice looking foam soap pump, I had this on my "To Buy" list for a while. I finally made it to the store and got it. I've had it for almost two weeks and no issues. I like how it suctions to the sink and stays in place. The top does only twist once to stay on but it hasn't been an issue so far. I also love the fact that it saves on soap! Such a good buy, I would definitely recommend this!

I have bought 3 of these, one for each bathroom. They work great and the style of the container is so much better than having to use the bottle the foaming soap comes in. I was looking for these locally at all the stores in our city and the only place I could find this product was at Crate and Barrel.

Disappointment
Elated to see this product. Great concept. Beautiful design. I had to have this. About 4 weeks later the pump mechanism became gummed up with soap and would not operate correctly. I had to throw it away, sorry to say.

Really does work!
Hesitated after reading the reviews but now I want a second one! As the first review states, you need to add soap and then water to their respective lines, shake, and then the foam begins. Everything is working but will look out for the top not staying screwed on as others have pointed out. The top does only stay on with a single twist.

Worst, leaking, messy dispenser
I was so excited to buy this and it seemed like such a great idea and looked nice too. This was horrible!! From moment we started using it, it does not work to create foam well at all, the soap drips and leaks and spills all down the front every time we use it. The pump sticks so you have to use 2 hands to help it "pump" the half foamy half soapy mess into your hands, then the rest dribbles down the front creating a pool of soap on the bottom that causes the suction cup to slip and slide all over our counter and spreads the puddle of soap all over. Then, when it is less than half full, it is light enough that when you press the pump, it slips on the soap puddle and tips over, creating even more mess. And to try and clean up the mess everytime you use it? The BIGGEST pain in the world. I've used it for about a month and half now just to try and get my moneys worth but we CANT STAND IT anymore - we're throwing away and buying something (anything!) else. Great idea, but worst product ever. Not happy.

Not Worth The Money
Thought this would be a great item and worth the money but actually not worth the money at all. In concept it is a good idea (plastic, suction cup, unbreakable and good for the kitchen), but the lid on the container after the 1st week no longer tightened/screwed on like it should. Very disappointed with this product.

Love this soap pump!!
I love using foam soap pumps. They not only save soap but save water. It takes less water to rinse off the foam than a very thick liquid soap. This soap pump has a sleek design and is much better quality than the drugstore variety that are made to be disposable. I use dishwashing detergent in mine and keep it by the kitchen sink. The black suction cup base may not be attractive (noted by other reviewers) but I like that I only need to use one hand to dispense foam when I am washing my hands. And it can't be knocked over. I would definitely recommend this foam soap pump!
