The Story

Gather around our generous farmhouse-inspired table for memorable meals. A hand-distressed black finish with brown undertones on the apron and clean, tapered hardwood legs suggest a relaxed refinement that moves Pranzo out of the country and into a casual dinner party for 12 (three self-storing extension leaves allow up to 14 with the "holiday factor.") Tanganyika walnut top gets its rich character from a multistage process of layering and distressing to achieve a deep, rich patina with prominent hand-brushing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best table ever We've had this table for several years now. I purchased the floor model because it had a scratch on it and that saved me a ton. Anyway, we turned our seldom used formal DR into a family room so we have this table in our open concept kitchen/dining/family room. When it's just the four of us, the three leaves are stored away in the table (awesome!). When we have a large dinner, we put the leaves in and we can fit 12-14 comfortably and we still have plenty of room in our kitchen/dining area. The leaves are easy to install and store right in the table. The table is very sturdy and well made. One of the best pieces of furniture we've ever purchased and we'll have it for a very long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great dining table! This table is very beautiful and well-built.The finish is quite durable and easy to clean. A soft rag and warm water is all you need to clean it. With the antiquing any accidental dents or scrapes by my 3 and 5 year old boys fit right in. Luckily, thanx to the no-toy-on-the-table rule we don't have any dents, yet, just a few hairline scratches. The extensions lock into place creating a tight seal between the leaves ensuring that crumbs don't settle in the cracks. My only complaint is that it's a little narrow to set a table with placemats when you want to seat people at the ends. The placemats overlap.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Table for Apt Living The Pranzo dining table is great for a NYC apartment. I love that I can add extension leaves (which are stored within the table iteself) and 12 people can sit comfortable around the table. The only negative comment I have about this table is the wood is very soft and can scratch easily but we are careful so have not had any problems.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Dining Table Ever This table is everything I hoped for. It is sleak, the perfect size, wonderful storeage for leaves and can seat 14 easily if you have a large sit down dinner.Love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Table! We just bought this a few months ago and love it already. It's modern without being so ultra modern it doesn't work with our current furniture, and the fact that it is black and brown make it flexible for future decorating schemes. It's not too big that the two of us feel lonely, and it's very comfortable for a larger group of people. We haven't used the extension sets yet, but they make this a table that we can use for years to come/hosting family etc. We love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing table We bought the Pranzo dining table for our small kitchenette. We required a narrow table that extended to seat 12. We looked for over 2 years before we found one that fit our specifications to a 't". We love this table. It looks smart in the area and it fits the whole family at Christmas!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from not enough adjectives I have never been happier with any other furniture purchase as I am with this table. it is absolutely gorgeous. When extended I can seat 12.The wood is beautiful and it is so solid. I purchased 4 upholstered chairs and the whole set looks amazing. Def worth the price. My decor teeters between modern and traditional and this table is a perfect fit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Right This table was delivered a month ago in perfect condition.  I love it!  With the three extensions, you can make it as small or large as you want.  And how great it is that the extensions hide under the table.  I've added eight black ladder back chairs with rushing seats that look wonderful and I could add more as I'm only using two of the extensions.  Can't wait to show it off at Thanksgiving when we'll have twelve guests.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great piece of furniture for apartment We bought this for our living/dining room and it fits in with our other contemporary furniture. Looks great and has the ability to open up to fit the extended family. It even makes a good work table.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I own two This table is the perfect width - a bit more narrow than most dining room tables. It is sturdy and the leaves store inside. Purchased a second one for my vacation home!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Greatest innovation for dinning The table is eye catching, looks beautiful in the dinning area and is a "hidden" gem of enginering. Becuase we entertain a lot we can utilize all the space in the room without having to store the 3 leaves. The hidden leaves are easy to install and store beautifully!!! It is a homeowners dream entertaining table!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Will not expand We bought this table two years ago. The table worked when we first took it home, but now the wood has warped. We cannot expand or shrink the table without a fight. This table is poorly designed. The wood should have been kiln dried, and metal rails used. This table normally sits unused with one leaf. It was not until we had a dinner party and tried to expand the table that we discovered the problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from simply gorgeous This table is so beautiful and has good weight to it. The black and brown combo goes so well with many furniture styles. I looked for a very long time for an extension table that could seat 10-12 people and finally found it in this one; and you really could squeeze in another small person at either end if you had to. The fact that you store the leaves within the table itself is wonderful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Table with Delivery Issues The table was not delivered on the date promised and I had to spend way too much time on the phone to get a "loner table" for the holidays and then to get the delivery. Now that I have it, I am really happy, but the road was not smooth.
