Strut 70 Work Table is rated 4.4286 out of 5 by 56.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor construction I liked the look of the table, but after three tries, I threw in the towel. The first two bases had improperly drilled holes, and the last base had an improperly drilled hole, and had missing recessed retaining nuts on another leg.The returns/deliveries took a lot of my time.Until Crate and Barrel resolves the QA/QI issues with this table, I would avoid purchasing it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks great but wobbles I really like the looks of this table, and it's just the right size. I'm disappointed to find that it wobbles in the long direction. For example, if you're cleaning the glass or if you bump into the short end it will rock back and forth in the long direction. It doesn't give a very solid feeling for an item priced as high as it is. I don't mind paying more for a piece of furniture if I think it will last a lifetime, but I'm not sure this table will go the distance. If you're considering this table, I recommend that try to see it in the showroom first to make sure you're satisfied that it's solid enough.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Desk! I was looking for a modern desk but wanted something warmer than minimalist modern (but like the cleanness of minimalist). The salesperson suggested the Strut which was "posing" in the showroom as a dining room table. I would never have seen it. I have a small office area in that is part of a large living room, dining room, and entry space. The table needed to flow with the rest of the house yet be a subtle statement unto its own. The Strut fits the bill. The crafting is meticulous. The wood is lusciously smooth and the construction is sturdy. Just beautiful and I would highly recommend. I purchased the file cabinet as well!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful but some problems I bought this table quite a while ago, and overall have enjoyed it, but with time it has become wobbly (and I barely have used it). This would be fine if I could tighten the hardware connecting the legs to each other at the metal parts, but when C&B assembled this table they stripped the slot atop the screw/bolt so there is no way to turn it. So, a few years down the line, I'm left with a table that's rickety -- I'm really disappointed, b/c I thought I paid this much for something so it would hold up. Also, the little rubbery things that go between the glass and wood have disintegrated into a sticky crumbly mush that looks awful under the glass and soon won't be providing any protective cushion.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple, Chic, Functional I use this piece as a work table 95% of the time. The glass top and shape of the legs make for a very clean but definitely distinct take on a desk. The other 5% of the time, when guests or family are over, it converts easily into a dining table that can seat 6 comfortably (with 1 at each end). The fact that it works so well for both use-occasions is great for someone who doesn't have a ton of space.(Sidenote: I paired it up with the Ripple Ivory Leather Chair for work, and the Folio Leather Chairs for dining. Both look smashing.)I get smothered by compliments on this table, & have my eye on the bookcase next!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Functional and airy I spent a year searching for the right dining table to fit our modest dining room space and that would also match dark walnut dining chairs we had purchased a few years ago. I looked at this table often, then finally made the decision. It is perfect. It provides ample dining space for 6 people but doesn't seem overtake our small dining space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Ideal Desk This desk is THE desk I've been looking for all these years. It's minimalism at it's best. Not only is it design perfection, but it's also highly functional with its large glass surface area and versatility. Even though the table is in my bedroom right now, I love knowing that it'll look just as beautiful in my living room or dining room or wherever I choose to place it! This table demands attention and it definitely gets it. I look forward to growing old with this table.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great and modern We have two of these as desks in our office. Our home is an open concept so the office is visible from our modern living room/kitchen. The glass makes desks seem less stuffy like something you'd see in your office building. The legs give the tables a great look with clean lines and a modern feel. We've had them for over a year now and they are holding up great. No chips in the glass (we have two dogs, two cats and I work from home.. so this is great!) and the legs haven't been scuffed even though I kick them a lot by accident!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Poor Quality Glass I love the look of this table but, given its price, I am negatively surprised with the quality of the glass. I've owned a number of glass top tables before, but never did any of them scratch so easily as this one. I've only had it for a few months, most of which I have been out of town and after a single dinner with friends, I have found no less than 4 scratches on the surface -- they look kind of whitish too, which makes them very visible from a small distance. I am extremely disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Perfect Desk I've owned it for over a year now and have had absolutely no problems whatsoever...and it's "HUGE". I have a desk lamp in one corner, printer in the opposite corner, laptop in the middle, and still have plenty of room for whatever resource materials I'm using. If you like a wide open workspace it can't be beat, and yes it looks great...rugged, refined, and masculine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Dining Table I purchased this as a dining table after having shopped for one for more than a year. I am pleased with the purchase, it has very clean lines, is great for opening up smaller spaces and seats 6 people comfortably. However, I will say that the glass scratches rather easily, I have a couple of scratches on mine now and have no idea where they came from.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from A litle dissapointed I had this table shipped to my nearest store and picked it up just yesterday with my husband. The glass is 135 lbs, which they don't mention to you prior to pick-up, so be sure to bring someone with you if picking up.After awkwardly loading this in my husbands truck, we got it home and I was thrilled to put it together. Once I started I noticed that NONE BUT ONE of the legs were marked per the directions (A, B, C, D), so when I was assembling the legs I had to just play the game of "what fits where?" I also noticed that there were already scratches on them and one big wood knot in a leg that has started cracking. After taking legs in and out of the metal connectors for about 30 minutes, I finally thought I had it figured out. I had to really work some of the legs in because the openings simply were not large enough in certain areas (shaped incorrectly) and the wood didn't seem to fit right. After getting the legs on I started with the screws and found myself really yanking on some. When I got to the last screw I was having a heck of a time getting it tightened. I wound up stripping the darn thing with one hard turn. I was SO mortified when this happened. Luckily, when I said "forget it" and turned the table right side up, I realized that you couldn't see the one protruding screw. At least I had that going for me.I placed the plastic nubs on the wood so to place the glass on top. After placing the glass, I noticed that it slides around at the slightest nudge - it almost seems to float. I am hoping that it sort of settles in and doesn't continue to do this, otherwise I will have one glass-less table at some point.Luckily, I got it on sale and with several gift cards from xmas. It looks great, but I would not buy it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful! We bought this table to use in our dining room and love the look. The modern structure and glass top with the warm tones of the wood give just the right balance to a small dining space. Using benches with the table instead of chairs complements the table's minimalist statement.
