Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great table! We had this table in our kitchen for almost 4 years. We do everything on it from homework and painting to eating. The natural distressed look is great because you do not need to worry about any small scratches. It has a wax finish and sometimes rings do appear on it after placing a glass but we just rub some olive oil or beeswax on it and they just disappear. Overall it was a great purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the look of this solid wood dining room table We just had this table delivered today & it looks great! The delivery people did a wonderful job putting it together & suggested that we seal/protect it with beeswax before using it. Apparently, cups can leave water stains & wiping it with cleaning chemicals may hurt the finish if it isn't sealed. It's a nice size for our smaller dining room & you can mix/match chairs because the table itself looks good with many different chair colors/styles. We also really like that it's solid reclaimed wood :0)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great look! I have had this table for a few months. I read in the earlier reviews to treat it with beeswax first, which I did not do. When I noticed some staining, I treated it ASAP. Nothing has been spilled on it since (to my knowledge), but the positive is that because it has a distressed look, stains don't really matter. Also, my toddler bumps into it all the time with her toys, which doesn't matter either! Overall, it's a great look and I'm happy with the purchase.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We have the darker wash, good quality We have had our table for a couple years now, and I must say it has held up pretty well. I have 2 young children so it has endured a bit of abuse. There is a waxy layer/sealant that is easily scratched, so I don't love that. Also every time I clean the table I come up with a bunch of the stain. Other than that it has held up well and we still love the rough/reclaimed look of it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from sturdy and beautiful!! This is the best furniture purchase that we at our house. Contemporary and will withstand the test of time (in terms of style and sturdiness). Delivery was smooth, the staff was courteous.. would definitely recommend to friends and family.. In short affordable + great design + long-lasting ... And BTW I look around a lot before deciding to buy what I need

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keep in mind that it's unfinished You have to beeswax the table before you use it. I've done one application and it helps with spills. Looks great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terravida Grey Wash Dining Table I have been looking for this table forever. I am so happy I found it. I was a little worried about ordering something with this price tag w/o actually seeing it. It is more beautiful in person, but is just as pictured. The quality is terrific, sturdy material, although I will have to use those furniture gliders to move it on my own. But once I find the perfect rug to go with it, it will stay put. I was just imagining the other day that this table will be in my family for years. 10-30-2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Huge disappointment - doesn't hold up well Loved the look of this table when we bought it a few months ago.  I had told the C&B sales person that I intended to use it in the kitchen.  He told me it was very durable and even poured water on it and wiped it up in the showroom to demonstrate how easily it cleaned.  Unfortunately, the table we received is not resistant to stains at all.  I use placemats all the time and clean up drips when they occur, but there are many stains on it already.  So disappointed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great dining table! We purchased this table seven months ago, and it has served as our everyday dining table and desk since the first day it arrived.  We love this table!  It does come unfinished, so we applied beeswax right away, and we have repeated the beeswax application once so far.  While we do use placemats for hot plates, with the beeswax application, we don't worry at all about glasses - condensation from a water glass literally disappears.  The table's rustic finish also minimizes the appearance of any scratches - they blend right into the table.  We are very happy with this table and plan to use it for years to come!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful table but not perfect... I purchased the same table they offered a few years ago that had the darker finish. It now has a long split down the middle between two of the boards which I was told is the result of changes in humidity. I didn't contact the company about it further because they don't make the darker color table anymore and I prefer it over the light one they currently offer. As to the finish coming right off that is true but I purchased some rub-in stain and that always takes care of any problems and makes it look brand new again! Just to let you know you can remedy any water stains and scratches by doing that!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love this table! I just love the rustic look of this table and it goes so well in our kitchen. Yes, it does leave marks if you leave things on it unattended and it does scratch but they have been either easy to fix or add character to the table.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't spill on this table! I love, love, love the look of this table. Unfortunately, we use it as a kitchen table, and if you try washing with soap and water, it will take the finish right off. I now have 3 whitish spots on my table. Plus, I spilled maple syrup and seem to have a permanent dark stain in that spot (with white around it from where I tried to wash off with soap and water!) We now use big place mats, but it takes away from the beautiful surface of the table.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Gorgeous but... Great buy for the money. Heavy and this table was just what we were looking for! It is the right color and the right "atmosphere" for our beachy, casual house. We were thrilled with the way it fit into the room. But, we had a spill on the table last night which we washed up with soap and water. Bad mistake. It seems the table is not sealed and the stain is water-based so when we wiped up the spill, up came the stain and we now have a light spot on the table. Will be contacting Crate & Barrel tomorrow to see what can be one about it - I am not happy. $800 table and water-based stain, not sealed. It makes NO sense.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Table I actually like it more now that I have it in my house than I did when I saw it in the store. It looks different (maybe it's the light), but it's a beautiful and substantial table that has a bit of a modern rustic feel to it. It's very attractive -- more simple elegance. I bought black leather chairs to go along with it ...and the set looks very classy.
