Cuisine::pro's iD3 Black Samurai knives are razor-thin and exceptionally sharp for fast and agile cutting, slicing and dicing. Made of premium Japanese steel, the knives are manufactured with techniques inspired by traditional Japanese craftsmanship and samurai sword making. The blades are tough, shatter-resistant and honed to a fine, razor-sharp edge with Damascus-style patterning suggestive of flowing water. A ceramic black coating makes the knives stain-resistant, nonreactive and antibacterial. The santoku knife has a broad blade and low tip for precise control and recessed scallops along the blade to reduce friction and release cut foods. Plus, the asymmetrical handle with MicroDot technology conforms to main pressure points in the hand for maximum control and comfort.
