A vibrant home, rooted in heritage. This beautiful and functional handwoven basket was designed by Chef Eric Adjepong—who traveled to the village in Ghana to see the artisans at work. Finished with long, graceful handles designed for carrying, the sturdy market basket is perfectly proportioned for toting produce, flowers, baked goods and more home from the farmers' market or grocery store. (Chef Eric's aunts and uncles used baskets like this at home to store garlic and potatoes.) Each basket is beautifully unique, ranging from solid natural to black with natural patterning.
Practicing and preserving time-honored weaving techniques, the artisans of the Baba Tree Basket Co. in Bolgatanga, Ghana, have been creating unique baskets for 15 years
Star chef and cookbook author Eric Adjepong combines his West African heritage and NYC upbringing in our exclusive new collection designed to spark bold flavors and joyful gatherings.
