The simple, classic shape of our Caspian serving bowl puts the focus on its beautiful reactive blue glaze. Undergoing chemical changes during firing, the glaze produces one-of-a-kind patterns and luminous, variable blue tones. Beginning as aqua, the glaze cascades down the bowl's interior, pooling at the bottom in cobalt, peppered throughout with unique markings and crackles. The glaze and its effects are food-safe but may temporarily discolor with certain foods.
