Excellent purchase!
I love this tea kettle. It takes making a pot of tea to a new level. It is beautiful on the counter and so cool to watch in action.

Great Tea Brewer!
Having tried a few other brewers/kettles/pots in the past I was a bit skeptical about ordering this one as a gift for my tea-drinking wife. The reviews convinced me, so I ordered...
The brewer/kettle is GREAT!!! It is extremely well built, looks fantastic on the counter and most importantly, brews a perfect pot of tea. The hot plate then keeps it at serving temperature for a hour - what more could one want? You can select various types of teas, select strength of brew, simply boil water - you name it.
I highly recommend it - while pricey, it is worth every penny!!!

Breville Tea Brewer & Kettle
For the serious tea drinker, this is a must. It is simple, easy to use. I particularly like the idea of not always hearing the whistle of a tea kettle on the stove and fear of having left the stove on (senior moment). Sits nicely and looks as good or better than the high-end coffee makers.

Amazingly well-enginered applicane
This appliance is truly an amazingly well-engineered piece of equipment. While I have only had the product for two days I am totally enamored.
I had previously owned the Zarafina automatic tea maker and there is no comparison between the two products. The Zarafina had a smaller brew capacity, was messy when brewing tea and broke within four months of use. I had also purchased a Zarafina unit for my girlfriend and hers broke within six months of use. (Yes, she has seen the Breville and another order has already been placed for her unit.)
The Breville appears to be of much sturdier construction.
The brewing interface is well layed out and intuitive. The unit heats up the water quickly and the basket drop mechanism is very smooth.
The amazing engineering even extends to the power cord with a doughnut-shaped plug in that makes unplugging the unit very easy. I know the plug in mechanism sounds like a silly thing to be impressed by, but I believe it just speaks to the overall thought put into designing this quality product.
Oh yeah, it makes an outstanding cup of tea also.

AMAZING for tea lovers!
I just bought this tea kettle/brewer and it is amazing! It made my tea beautifully, and the product was really easy to use-- I was able to take it out of the box and figure it out in no time. It heats the water really fast and I love the fact that it has options to quickly brew different kinds of tea, keep the pot warm for up to an hour, and can even be programmed to turn on at a specific time. Finally, a product for tea drinkers that is comparable to all of the fancy coffee and espresso machines!
